There is onion caramelizing going on in our house, too! Hooray!
Avatar 🦇 Swag For Life Member 12:19pm
Julie:

We never did that in my house. Green casserole was always big though.

so good to see the familiar characters milling about in the Dark Night Den. It's freezing cold in SF (we had snow??!) and i'm thinking of the American Indians and other indigenous folx who were out on Alcatraz Island all night, holding ceremony.

Hi Julie and belated happy birthday - completely managed to forget this despite last show's theme, I did listen and even comment a couple of times but my mind was asleep (week-long lack of proper sleep due to a terrrrrible cough). Anyways, now for a nerdy question: since you play a lot of syd-era floyd, what is your opinion on the recent box set? I don't have it, but have heard it of course, and my opinion is it could have been so much better. I mean the Syd-era BBC tracks are mostly awful in terms of sound quality, even though good quality sources exist.
Avatar 🦇 Swag For Life Member 12:46pm
Granny Spicy Tuna (they/them):

i'm profoundly grateful to be in so much better shape than the mess i was a year ago. WFMU has been a huge part of that, so thanks everyone!!!!

Hi all. No significant cooking here, usual lunch and then after some Native American token support (show up, take photos and move along) going to go out and pay high prices for minimum wage immigrants and social misfits to serve me. There will be generous gratuities while my wife complains that they make more than she does.

Thanks a lot, Julie, for Stina Nordenstam. She is one of my favorite musician of 90s. She is swedish, from Gothenburg.
Unfortunately, since the mid-2000s, she has retired from music. Nothing is heard about her for a long time . My favorite Stina's album is "People Are Strange" (1998) with unusual covers of L.Cohen, Prince, J. Morrison etc.
