Looking forward to the live set. Funny they're playing WFMU live, heard nothing about them here in Sydney (Melbourne band).
Avatar Swag For Life Member 🎃 Tue. 10/1/19 9:18pm Nate K.:

@Aitch, not sure if this matters, but they're from Melbourne. My Australian geography is bad.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 🎃 Tue. 10/1/19 9:22pm ultradamno:

Avatar Swag For Life Member Tue. 10/1/19 9:26pm Aitch:

Very different places, both approx 5 million people, about 550 miles south to Melbourne (pronounced melben) from here. Almost exactly 10,000 miles to NYC.....

There's a pretty funny story about the filming of The Island of Dr. Moreau (in North Queensland) in the documentary Lost Soul that, finally fed up the mess of the production, Fairuza Balk got a cab and asked to go to, I think it was Sydney, not realizing how far it was, but got the lift.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Tue. 10/1/19 9:33pm Aitch:

1,200 miles Cairns to Sydney.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Tue. 10/1/19 9:48pm Aitch:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 🎃 Tue. 10/1/19 9:59pm ultradamno:

I am a little guilty that I only really enjoyed The Ohio Players' Love Rollercoaster when I thought someone died recording it
