i am continually amazed by the sheer creativity committed to vinyl in this era. Frank Zappa explained why, once. he mentioned that record labels were run by businessmen with no musical opinions ~ so it was sort of a 'throw it at the wall & see what sticks' approach. absolutely everything was recorded. lucky us!!
