What up, Jonathan Herweg? You know I'd be here, glad to hear you are too. Looking forward to a great show.

Good morning
This music has been good for the matching & folding of socks
  Fri. 9/6/19 12:52am BEAVO:

I was chiming in to say hello to Nick, glad to hear my other favorite DJ, Blurred and Obscured!
  Fri. 9/6/19 12:54am m:

listening for real best part of my day thank you!
Avatar Fri. 9/6/19 1:07am rbtsps:

Keep going!
  Fri. 9/6/19 1:08am ignatatus666:

I went to the Mdou Moctar concert in Brooklyn last night
Car broke down as I got off the exit
Drove 3 blocks past the show to pull over safely
Faintly heard the music in the background
That concert cost me 350.00 in repairs and tow
Totally my own fault
Never saw the concert
Totally bummed out.
  Fri. 9/6/19 1:08am ignatatus666:

Great playlist
Thank you
  Fri. 9/6/19 1:09am rw:

JH, Def. schedule worthy. Trying things out is always good but you already knew that! And just for the record, you're insane. 1500 new tracks? Did I hear that right?
  Fri. 9/6/19 1:10am rw:

ignatatus666 that blows. Sorry, man.
Avatar Fri. 9/6/19 1:12am Jherweg:

Yeah I downloaded music for like ten hours straight the last couple days , I’m like a digital music rain man... that Moctar show was incredible ... I was blown away .. sorry about your troubles..
  Fri. 9/6/19 1:12am ignatatus666:

What really blows is most likely Mdou Moctar is about to become super popular and seeing him at small venues is about to end.
  Fri. 9/6/19 1:23am rw:

ignatatus666, you might have some time. Just catch the next one. I never saw X in LA back when they were playing clubs. When we would look up shows to go to on the weekend, I kept saying, "Yeah, I'd see X, but not at that venue. Maybe when they play someplace smaller." Of course they kept playing bigger and bigger places. It wasn't until I was in college that I finally saw them in an old opera house in Kansas City! I think it must have been 1984. Billy Zoom had returned. It was a pretty great show. I just thought it was funny it took moving to KS to finally see X.
  Fri. 9/6/19 1:28am m:

wished I still smoked weed
Avatar Fri. 9/6/19 1:29am Jherweg:

It’s never too late to start back up !
  Fri. 9/6/19 1:33am ignatatus666:

I always wish I could start again
I’m too OCD
  Fri. 9/6/19 1:34am ignatatus666:

I thought I hit the jackpot since it was on my night off. My own fault as I knew I had a belt issue.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 9/6/19 1:34am Scraps:

rw, the two bands that I saw more than ever (in the early 80s, as a teenager) were Dead Kennedys and X. So so good.
  Fri. 9/6/19 1:35am m:

David Lynch's rat psa is good though.
  Fri. 9/6/19 1:35am ignatatus666:

I remember seeing Metallica in small venues. Not currently a fan but great memories.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 9/6/19 1:45am chresti:

Love the dub/dancehall
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 9/6/19 1:47am chresti:

At first I thought it said Seersuckernational, w/o my glasses
  Fri. 9/6/19 1:47am rw:

Scraps, Sounds like a great teenage experience! My sister and brother-in-law just saw X at the Orange County Fair! Maybe not such a great experience. I'm not sure who I saw most as a kid. I had a couple friends in a band called Middle Class. They were pretty involved with the scene and always played cool places often with other good bands. I probably saw them most and often if not always on the guest list!
  Fri. 9/6/19 1:51am m:

this takes me back to watching black and white television in 70s
Avatar Fri. 9/6/19 1:52am Pete DJ TM5:

Ultra kudos on the Oto!!! Its my favorite track by them.
Avatar Fri. 9/6/19 1:53am Pete DJ TM5:

And Sweet Exorcist too
  Fri. 9/6/19 1:55am rw:

m, the good old days. I was bummed when my b&w tv broke in the '80s but my girlfriend was ecstatic 'cause it meant we could finally get a color set.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 9/6/19 1:56am diciassette:

Hi everyone! For the record, X is my favorite goddam band.
Avatar Fri. 9/6/19 1:57am Jherweg:

Hey Pete, glad you guys are enjoying the show .
  Fri. 9/6/19 1:57am rw:

chresti, Seersuckernation!
  Fri. 9/6/19 2:00am rw:

JH, thank you for your insanity.
Avatar Fri. 9/6/19 2:00am Jherweg:

You’re welcome... I have problems .
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 9/6/19 2:01am Fuzzy:

Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 9/6/19 2:02am diciassette:

Drugs are nice!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 9/6/19 2:04am diciassette:

I know that one!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 9/6/19 2:05am Aitch:

I once asked my mum (70's) what you euphoria was. She said it was something bad. I found that to be wrong, never really trusted her after that.
  Fri. 9/6/19 2:09am ignatatus666:

How do I not know who X is?
  Fri. 9/6/19 2:09am rw:

Aitch, What's euphoria?
  Fri. 9/6/19 2:10am rw:

ignatatus666 you're too young. They're sort of like Metallica from a decade earlier.
  Fri. 9/6/19 2:13am rw:

Maybe not exactly...
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 9/6/19 2:13am Scraps:

There’s two Xs, even; the Los Angeles punk band, and an Australian band, also punk, and also formed in 1977.
  Fri. 9/6/19 2:15am rw:

Oh, yeah! Scraps, I'd forgotten. What were the Australian X like? I know I've heard them at some point.
  Fri. 9/6/19 2:16am ignatatus666:

I’m too young? Thank you for the kind words.
I’m a 66 love child
  Fri. 9/6/19 2:16am ignatatus666:

Probably know them and do not realize.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 9/6/19 2:17am Scraps:

The Los Angeles X was fairly famous, breaking out of punk to have their second album declared by Rolling Stone the best album of 1978, and getting on MTV for two or three videos. The male-and-female vocals were awesome.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 9/6/19 2:21am VincentNifigance:

Hey Jon, nice to see you.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 9/6/19 2:22am Scraps:

The Australian X were more like a generic punk band, to me. On the other hand, some people think they were underrated and pretty great. I haven’t heard them for ages, though I have at least one of theirs.... hm, I should listen to them again
  Fri. 9/6/19 2:23am rw:

ignatatus666 you're 66 yrs old or you were born in '66? If you were born in '66 you would probably know some songs. If you're 66 yrs old you still would probably know some songs!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 9/6/19 2:24am Scraps:

Jeez, when I said 1978, I meant 1981
  Fri. 9/6/19 2:27am rw:

Scraps, that's my memory of Aussie X. If we both have the same (non)memory I'm guessing we're right about them. Let me know if you have any changes of heart after another listen!
  Fri. 9/6/19 2:28am rw:

This IS the weirdest Blurred and Obscured. And not only because of the sketches. They just keep reminding me.
Avatar Fri. 9/6/19 2:31am Jherweg:

I know this show is insane , it sort of took on a life of it’s own..
Avatar Fri. 9/6/19 2:32am Jherweg:

I realize these whacked out drug shows aren’t everyone’s cup of tea .
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 9/6/19 2:33am diciassette:

The first 4 Manzarek produced X records are definitely the best.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 9/6/19 2:34am Scraps:

Yep, that’s for sure.
  Fri. 9/6/19 2:34am rw:

This is a whacked out drug show?!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 9/6/19 2:34am diciassette:

This show seems nermal.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 9/6/19 2:35am Scraps:

It would be a good acid show.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 9/6/19 2:35am Scraps:

If I had acid, or took it anymore
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 9/6/19 2:37am Scraps:

It’s also a good show period.
  Fri. 9/6/19 2:37am rw:

Scraps, I'd be scared. Too many responsibilities these days. Plus, I'm not sure I really want to look that deeply into my own mind at this point!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 9/6/19 2:39am Scraps:

That’s why I don’t take acid anymore. My pain is constant, since the stroke, and acid is not good for depression....
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 9/6/19 2:41am diciassette:

Taking acid is like taking your brain apart and looking at it in exploded view, yes? Pistons, crankshafts, valves, gaskets.. I've heard it's good for PTSD (like MDMA)
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 9/6/19 2:42am diciassette:

If you don't like your synapses the way they are why not randomly re-arrange them.
Avatar Fri. 9/6/19 2:43am mariano:

Oh I love me some vibes.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 9/6/19 2:44am Scraps:

vibes is my favorite instrument
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 9/6/19 2:49am diciassette:

Eep! Ungh! <3
Avatar Fri. 9/6/19 2:49am Jherweg:

Mugabe’s dead, lets take DMT
Avatar Fri. 9/6/19 2:50am Jherweg:

This is my strangest choice of the show ...
  Fri. 9/6/19 2:55am m:

Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 9/6/19 2:55am diciassette:
