Ridgewood Radio features concert recordings by adventurous bands and experimental musicians and restored archival tapes from private and institutional collections captured at venues large and small across the five boroughs of New York. It is produced by David Weinstein and Outpost Artists Resources operating out of the Ridgewood section of Queens, NY, where you'll find more yellow bricks than on the road to Oz and the cemetery of your choice is never more than a few blocks from home.

Avatar Wed. 8/28/19 3:19pm david w:

Recorded live at Outpost in June, and mixed by Prof. Zummo just for us. Hello you heinsengs!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 🎃 Wed. 8/28/19 3:31pm fred:

I recommended the Fire Over Heaven shows to a composer who's back in NYC now after a year in Paris. The calendar on www.outpostartistsresources.org doesn't seem up to date though. Is there another source for show announcements?

Last week's show an exquisite secret hidden in the moment everyone goes outdoors

Avatar Wed. 8/28/19 3:38pm david w:

@fred: the joint is on hiatus until September so updates coming. The Outpost newsletter is weekly even now, so that is a solid thing to sign on to.
Avatar Wed. 8/28/19 3:38pm david w:

@heinseng: and you know outdoors as well as anyone! So, thanks!

@David sad aging truth: I'l be 63 on Friday. Hi PZ!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 🎃 Wed. 8/28/19 4:15pm fred:

Ken had GIFs back on his show today, and they linked to blogfiles.wfmu.org. I guess that was a test of the new server, and it seemed to work, so that picture-less spell may be coming to an end
  Wed. 8/28/19 4:20pm Peter Zummo:

Happy birthday, Henry!
Avatar Wed. 8/28/19 4:21pm david w:

You've got the backstory, fred. I'll keep on it. It's one of those little joys of a web-based show to share.
