Used to subscribe to Rock Scene magazine back in the late 70s. Lenny Kaye from the Patti Smith Group was one of the editors. They covered the early punk scene very extensively. Bands like Handsome Dick Manitoba, Wayne County, Ramones, Televisison etc... Patti Smith Group - Radio Ethiopia was probably my first "punk" album. Television - Marquee Moon close in there too.

ben abs, truthfully the highlight was hanging with my sons and particulary enjoying my one son's first trip there. He is an art student so we took in a few museums (V&A, British, Tate) and ate FANTASTIC food (at Camden Mkt., Dishoom, and a few others.)

This album always reminds me of being 5 years old visiting my dad for the weekend. The album had a scratch and at 5 or 6 am I would crawl out of bed stepping over my dad and all his drunk buddies to take the needle off the record. Then back to bed.
