I watched the "Sex and Broadcasting" documentary on Amazon Prime last week. Very interesting. It showed how committed to the station Ken Freedman is. Spotted Bill at about the 20 minute mark and then again a little over an hour in.

I saw Iron Butterfly perform at the Fillmore East in April '68, before they recorded this song. I later saw them again at the Fillmore the following year. They were much better the 2nd time around!
