One day I was walking around the Rose bowl and I ran into an old neighbor,I asked him what he was doing and he said playing drums with Dick Dale. I said WHAA!?! How'd that happen? He said he walked up to him after a gig and said " Your drummer is crummy, I'm better." Dick said " Okay, you be my drummer" And he did! For quite awhile. I saw on them at the Santa Monica pier.
