here is my lavender funfact: In turkish Lavender is lavanta or efflatun, which is also the word for Lilac (leylak) Amaranth, and Plato the philosopher. And Arabic word for Lavender is not pleasant sounding.

@ Webmaster Henry -- awwwww that is so wonderful! please give your *elderly* kitty love & cuddles for me :)
LAVENDER also was (still is?) often associated with Lesbian art/culture -- "Lavender Jane Loves Women," The Lavender Express, etc. -- however, i could never find out exactly *why* lavender was chosen for this symbolism (even when i asked the other volunteers with whom i worked at a hotline my last year in college -- eek, almost 40 years ago! we were quite the mixed crowd, yet still, no-one knew!)
"Lavender" is also the name of an absolutely exquisite piece by . . . JANDEK!!! shimmering and ethereal, first time i heard it, thought it was sooooo cool that JANDEK was able to create this (as opposed to his earlier "work," which usually generated responses such as, "PLEASE! MAKE IT STOP!!!" etc.)

That sounds good, but I feel like rather than giving it a mould wine profile,you could replace the pie spices and add sumac, ginger, and maybe a mint or basil instead to give it a more refreshing profile though I suppose the wine would impact that end product a lot too.

@brian I think that works, as I said before I feel like the wine+spice selection will take overpower a lot of the properties of the lavender/blueberries which is why I asked if slug had made it before, and why I was brainstorming other things you could do

@ Krys O and Cmurtha -- no, unfortunately have never tried this -- Willy Wonka proportions is right! (and OF COURSE when blueberries are in season -- i never have the actual TIME to prepare this!) . . . and yes, i would definitely experiment with the spices etc. -- i rarely drink, so not like i have wine in the house either, hah!
