I love this one. I think Iggy played it on his BBC6 show a few weeks back. Kind of reminds me of the Steven Jesse Bernstein album - that he did with Steve Fisk.
Avatar 3:05pm
Creamo Coyl:

Whoa really? Damn, Iggy's got good taste. DRT live was fucking sick, that guy can jam some guitar. ANd that Bernstein record is an all-time fave. Yeah the voice is kind of similar.

know... leary also talked about net... which is essentially the same things... radio=tv=net=?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:52pm
steveo:

Луц, I'm not familiar offhand with what Leary said, but I think the idea of TV (and commercial radio) as an opiate for the masses has a lot of truth. And that's why I'm here.

I'm sure Cream O' probably has his sets all lined up, but may I may a request?
X. Ray was quite fond of Scottish funky post-punkers APB. I think they would fit in nicely in the S-AB Skronksphere.

The Leaving Trains were, bar none, the whiniest band I ever saw. Who would have thought a basement in Muncie on a Sunday night wouldn't be packed with rabid Leaving Trains fans?
Avatar 4:40pm
Creamo Coyl:

Haha. Still love em. And no one could ever be as whiny as Aton Newcombe, but I can see Falling James as kind of a proto-Newcombe, except w/ talent.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:40pm

Hey there CC - groovy, sleety/snowy/rainy mix of jams man...

Muncie baesments shows? Musta been a BALL! Do tell about that scene.

Well, No Bar & Grill. A basement juice bar on Martin. Big Black played there, Killdozer, Scratch Acid, Henry Rollins, Boy Dirt Car, Die Kreuzen, etc.

Stevo at Some Bizzare. Coil was none too happy with him, either. Hence the message on the Scatology CD reissue, "stevo pay us what you owe us!" or something to that effect.
