same old fucking story about democrats.
...we're fucked.
Avatar 12:37am
Fox:

Kamala Harris and Cory Booker are too easily seen by the right as Hillary and Obama part two. Even if they WERE good choices, which they aren't, they don't appeal to the other side. They don't take votes away from Trump.

Avatar 12:38am
Fox:

I wonder what the Democrats will do when polling shows that Bernie Sanders is the only candidate that can swing votes away from Trump winning. I wonder if they will fuck it up again, or if they will back Sanders for the greater good?
Avatar 12:40am
Fox:

Ideally, Elizabeth Warren would win the nomination and Sanders would be her running mate. That's the best case scenario for political unity and beating Trump. Anything else is going to be a terrifying clusterfuck.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:40am
coelacanth∅:

it seems like for decades (or generations) the individual democrats have let their egos get in the way of prevailing over the obvious horribleness.

hey JHerweg - good to catch your show and in real time (but not with Bill Maher) - Speaking of political musings and specifically Cory Booker - on a positive note and putting politics aside, his premiere campaign video just unveiled is the first one I recall seeing/hearing with a kickass drum beat track throughout- and for that I am grateful - bring that beat back into politics :)

The best thing so far is that guy who heckled the Seattle coffee billionaire in Barnes and Noble calling him a “Billionaire A**hole”
Avatar 12:51am
Jherweg:

Oh Hey Billy Jan, thanks for listening , I’m such huge fan of your show! Yes I would go for a series of campaign ads produced with classic break beats to drive the message home...
Avatar 12:52am
Billy Jam:

@JakeGould LOL - yeah he totally upstaged him and consequently is way more famous - yet I have not seen what he looks like nor know if he has been ID'ed @Jherweg - I concur and suggest that presidential candidates not speak at all but play musical instruments - and instead of debates have jam sessions
Avatar 12:54am
Fox:

@BillyJam - and maybe a dance off round.
  12:55am
JakeGould:

@Billy: Well, have I got a link for you! gothamist.com...
Avatar 12:57am
Jherweg:

@Billy Jam , I want to hear the beat from “Hung Up” by Salt in a campaign ad.
Avatar 12:58am
Billy Jam:

@Fox - yes - followed up by a round of one on one whistling - one should be judged by their whistling skills and knowledge of songs with whistling in them (there are so many that I have heard DJs do whistle themed shows covering all genres - good shit too and impossible not to whistle along) - @Jake thanks for link - will check it later for the heckler and the guy right after telling him to "shut up" hah hah

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:29am
northguineahills:

TBH, they were mirror image swastikas, usually found in Sanskrit and Tibetan/Bhutanese imagery, but taken out of context, w/ no other explanation, it'd just someone trying to be edgy is my guess. (I approve of Jonathan's mod action).

@Jherweg - bet Mr Fine Wine has original of that 7" - Oh and since I just got off long phone conversation I totally missed that swastika commenter - WTF? - and to read from Ken Hyde Park that they pulled same dumb shit earlier during Rob's show - make a note of their ISP and pass along to Ken, if Rob has not already done so -

it's an old tactic. kiss did it. they (the corporation) pretended that they were really popular and lied about record sales and such and the children and childlike of the upsa fell for it, bought that crap to be doing what they figured the others were doing, and kiss made a fortune; despite very obviously completely sucking.
