beam me up, Spacebrother!
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:01pm spacebrother:

Slight political incorrectness. Worse later.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 1/7/19 7:02pm Otis Fodder:

This is the spy who CAN sing.
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:03pm spacebrother:

Can he ever.
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:04pm spacebrother:

Hey Monsieur Fab!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 1/7/19 7:04pm Rich in Washington:

Oh man!
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:06pm spacebrother:

Sleepy one early on. D'OH!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 1/7/19 7:06pm Rich in Washington:

This big group oriented radio program I used to be part of - once we thought about doing an entire in Esperanto, but most of the music was really not that interesting - EXCEPT this track.
We ended up just doing a show on made up languages, with a smattering of Esperanto.
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:07pm spacebrother:

You've seen "Incucbus," right?
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 1/7/19 7:07pm Rich in Washington:

There were a few rock bands, but by then, it sort of drifted out of the show's artsy fartsy avant garde format.
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:07pm spacebrother:

Incubus
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 1/7/19 7:08pm Rich in Washington:

I've sort of watched it in bits and pieces. I probably should, huh?
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:08pm spacebrother:

You should still do it. Maybe here.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 1/7/19 7:08pm Rich in Washington:

I mean, it's the Shat.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 1/7/19 7:09pm Rich in Washington:

Oh wow. This is incredible!
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:10pm spacebrother:

Bits and pieces is the only way to see it.
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:12pm Mr Fab:

Yeah, The idea of seeing a whole film in Esparanto with Shatner is probly better in theory than in practice.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 1/7/19 7:12pm Otis Fodder:

I might need a number to call due to the realization that I have been humming/singing along to the past three slow numbers and know most, if not all, lyrics. Reaching out for helppppp.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 1/7/19 7:13pm Rich in Washington:

I can't remember. It seems like the version I found on YouTube didn't have subtitles or something. I was thinking sampling some of it for the radio show but then we all agreed that Esperanto in and of itself wasn't as interesting as playing stuff like Magma or Sigur Ros, etc.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 1/7/19 7:13pm Otis Fodder:

More like... you didn't need to bring your son to the studio.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 1/7/19 7:14pm Otis Fodder:

Thank you for Jet Lady!!
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:14pm Mr Fab:

Aww, that Gilberto was lovely...
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 1/7/19 7:14pm Otis Fodder:

Oooooh Magma. I pulled out the 1st album to play on Friday.
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:15pm spacebrother:

I can see you humming. In my little mind.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 1/7/19 7:16pm Rich in Washington:

I've become somewhat obsessed with watching these YouTube videos where nerds recreate noteable airline disasters or near disasters using some flight simulator software.
I think I need help, too.
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:16pm Mr Fab:

Was flipping thru this book whilst recently visiting Catalina Island. know this one Greg?
www.amazon.com...
I did not know about the Catalina/Roswell connection!
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:17pm spacebrother:

Never seen that! Gotta get it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 1/7/19 7:17pm Rich in Washington:

Potrzebie!
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:18pm spacebrother:

I chickened on playing side two. Maybe another show.
  Mon. 1/7/19 7:18pm tw2sheds:

Reminds me need to get my weeblefetzer tuned up.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 1/7/19 7:19pm Rich in Washington:

Wasn't Catalina the site of that famous silvery UFO film/sighting? I remember seeing it on some goofy old UFO documentary and the narrator says 'it suddenly stopped and hovered..' and they just freeze the film.
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:19pm spacebrother:

Yes. There's a famous film. It's a plane.
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:20pm spacebrother:

Hope I don't get in trouble for this one.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 1/7/19 7:20pm Rich in Washington:

WOW!
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:22pm spacebrother:

Or the next one.
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:23pm spacebrother:

I've scared everyone off.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 1/7/19 7:23pm Rich in Washington:

My pal Alejandro's got this crazy Mexican Cris Cris record that's got a parent just wailing on a little kid. I think it's about soup.
  Mon. 1/7/19 7:23pm tw2sheds:

the horror.....
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 1/7/19 7:24pm Rich in Washington:

Cri Cri, I mean. 50s/60s children's TV character.
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:25pm spacebrother:

I have to hear that one!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 1/7/19 7:25pm Rich in Washington:

These are hilarious, spacebrother! I know what you mean, though...
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:25pm spacebrother:

Next one is just metaphoric violence.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 1/7/19 7:25pm Rich in Washington:

HA!
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:26pm Mr Fab:

Thanks for the parenting lessons!
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:26pm spacebrother:

I still think that the Shat graphic looks like he's hitting himself in time with the music. Sometimes.
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:28pm Mr Fab:

mrs fab was just asking the other day about Burl Ives. Most people nowadays only know him for his Christmas songs.
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:28pm spacebrother:

He was a prolific bastard.
  Mon. 1/7/19 7:29pm tw2sheds:

Was known as a reformed communist who turned in all his friends
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:30pm spacebrother:

I think I'd heard that. Maybe he was just a bastard.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 1/7/19 7:30pm Rich in Washington:

The last thing I saw Burl in was some late 80s/early 90s Skinemax type romantic crime drama. A kind of ripoff of Wild At Heart. I can't remember exactly which.
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:31pm Mr Fab:

Damn, that sucks abut Burl the fink!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 1/7/19 7:31pm Rich in Washington:

During an era when I was married to someone who managed a video rental store. I saw easily 5 - 8 really bad movies a week, usually screeners.
  Mon. 1/7/19 7:32pm tw2sheds:

Pete Seeger r wouldn't talk to him for decades
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:32pm spacebrother:

I worked in post production for 25 years. I saw a WHOLE LOT of crap. Mostly uninteresting crap.
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:34pm spacebrother:

Which is the cardinal sin.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 1/7/19 7:34pm Rich in Washington:

I think that era and my time combing video stores for cool and strange movies really made it hard for me to sit through entire movies anymore. Just really got burned out.
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:36pm spacebrother:

I was inoculated against most visual media. I just saw so much junk that I burned out.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 1/7/19 7:36pm Otis Fodder:

Crazy good version of Get Smart!
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:37pm spacebrother:

Glad you liked it! Sort of a palate cleanser.
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:38pm spacebrother:

Does anyone know the story with this track?
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 1/7/19 7:38pm Rich in Washington:

I so wanna DJ a planetarium! I guess our local one is rentable for occasions. Hate to think how much it is, though.
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:41pm spacebrother:

With a laser show, I hope.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 1/7/19 7:42pm Otis Fodder:

Well, just added The Appliances to my wantlist. Thanks for the turn-on! www.discogs.com...
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:43pm spacebrother:

I always like to "Stump the Fodder."
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:43pm Mr Fab:

ha, yeah, I looked em up, too. Just when i think I've heard every '80s rap novelty...
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 1/7/19 7:44pm Rich in Washington:

Martinibomb turned me onto this single last summer and then I found the LP almost immediately after!
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:45pm spacebrother:

Playing part II and then another amazing track from the album later.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 1/7/19 7:45pm Rich in Washington:

Coincidence..?
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 1/7/19 7:45pm Rich in Washington:

This song should end abruptly with the sound of a bullet crashing through a window and a car peeling off in the background.
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:46pm spacebrother:

:)
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:46pm spacebrother:

This show repeats itself.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 1/7/19 7:47pm Rich in Washington:

Starcher died right after 9/11. Coincidence?
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:47pm Mr Fab:

think it was Homer and Jethro that did a parody of this song re: the eerie parallels between Lyndon Johnson and Batman.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 1/7/19 7:47pm Otis Fodder:

No coincidence, no no. Hold on, connecting dots. Must concentrate.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 1/7/19 7:47pm Rich in Washington:

My fifth grade teacher had that list of Lincoln/Kennedy facts on his bulletin board.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 1/7/19 7:48pm Rich in Washington:

NO! I HAVE to hear that!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 1/7/19 7:48pm Rich in Washington:

YAY! I love Homer and Jethro!
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:48pm spacebrother:

Here you go!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 1/7/19 7:49pm Rich in Washington:

never heard this, though! Fantastic!
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:49pm Mr Fab:

not entirely true facts tho. e.g. Lincoln did not have a secretary named Kennedy. Sorry!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 1/7/19 7:50pm Rich in Washington:

OMG! THis is freaking hilarious!
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:50pm Mr Fab:

me and Mrs Fab are laffin!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 1/7/19 7:51pm Rich in Washington:

I was never that aware of Homer and Jethro until I heard a track by them on National Lampoon Radio Hour.
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:51pm Mr Fab:

as coherent as most other conspiracy theories...
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:52pm spacebrother:

Yay! I am entertaining the peeps!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 1/7/19 7:52pm Rich in Washington:

I mean, I thought they were a serious country act or something.
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:52pm spacebrother:

They were both serious musicians, but found fame and $$ as comedians.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 1/7/19 7:52pm Rich in Washington:

I was just watching a great 'Paul Is Dead' presentation the other night.
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:54pm spacebrother:

WHAT IS HE TALKING ABOUT?!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 1/7/19 7:59pm Otis Fodder:

Thanks Greg!!!! Great show today. Loved Istanbul too!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 1/7/19 7:59pm Rich in Washington:

Thanks, spacebrother! Great show!
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:59pm spacebrother:

Thank you for listening!
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:59pm spacebrother:

Thank you Otis!
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 7:59pm Mr Fab:

Thanks for the awesomeness!
Avatar Mon. 1/7/19 8:00pm spacebrother:
