The coldest winter I ever saw was Boston '81. I landed at Logan, and then they shut down the airport. I visited my aunt in Chelmsford, and I distinctly recall opening a window during a fall of snow before I fell asleep in bed.

Ugh, politics again. Today, the new FL governor (DeSantis) released the new budget, and the FL DEP's budget is reduced, the EPA's budget was already reduced, which was 90% of our budget. So, 1/4 of my company's staff has been released (the most recent hires). I've only been there 1.5 years, so, next week is my last. Thanks GOP!

@doctorjazz: The shut down was part of it, but Pruitt gutted the EPA, and the new FL governor gutted the FL DEP budget as well. So, long, clean water....

The fact it was announced the day the new FL budget was announced, means, the company heads knew it was coming...
