My daughter, a budding crazy cat lady, & I have been getting down with Shelia's Catstravaganza. There will likely be a copy of Feline Groovy under the Christmas tree this year. And speaking of kids & crazy... you know how some kids just need attention? Doesn't matter if it's bad or good attention. Funny how some people never grow out of that.

Anyway, I've got to run, pick up my kiddo and take her to see the Grinch. Will be listening on the mobile app. I LOVE this show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also... while Dr. Ford's testimony may not have been sufficient to meet the evidentiary standards for a determination of guilt at a criminal trial... what was going on was not a criminal trial, it was a job interview.

What made it crystal clear, though, that Kavanaugh is absolutely unqualified to sit on any bench, Supreme or lower, was his unhinged angry rant, filled with rancor and nutty conspiracy theories. The very counterexample of the judicial temperament.

The spontaneous development of the sex organs of the opposite gender observed in some amphibians confined to a single-sex environment is a different issue entirely

Parthenogenesis is reproduction from an unfertilized ovum. Hermaphrodites produce both gametes and fertilization occurs just as it would with two sexes.

asexual reproduction is reproduction in the absence of gametes (egg/sperm). For example simple cell division is asexual reproduction. If there are cells that combine to reproduce then that is sexual reproduction. Some organisms can produce both gametes (flowers for instance often contain both pestles and stamen, the organs that produce the plants gametes) and some animals can too (slugs).
