	3:46am Jaz-Paz: Dolby was for noise reduction. I don't know the science but in my experience it was better left off on cheap units that supposedly supported it. It only sounded better to me if it was good quality tape on a decent deck. Otherwise it sounded awful. Like rolling off the entire top end.

	4:11am P-90: Sony had the Walkman Pro, like a Walkman at a whole different level of quality in the components and performance. Journalists used them for interviews and stuff and musicians liked them to record rough demos on the fly, the way they used portable DAT recorders later on.
