@Granny, your handle reminds me of a friend of mine who used to make a casserole called Granny's Nasty. It included sauerkraut and noodles.

Del Ray Beach, good grief. [swirls in a delirium of flashbacks] .. If it weren't for the Blue Anchor pub, I would have gone spectacularly insane.

Obnox! Caught them at HassleFest in Boston last year-- really cool band.

@The Oscar: What does a band that makes noise like that look like live?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:20am
Devin B.:

Y Pants!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:20am
The Oscar:

@Spurty IIRC the stuff they played there was a little more song-based, but suffice to say there were a lot of amps, guitar pedals, and electronics on stage.
Avatar 10:21am
Linda Lee:

Y Pants! old faves! thanks Scott!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:35am

The word is "coffers" right. Coiffers would be members of the barber community.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:37am

Coffees are dry too. sleepy.

This is the sound of brownian motion.

Or "quaffers," if you need a drink.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:45am

Hello everyone. I just stopped into a national coffee chain for a coffee. The WORST version of What's Going On was playing really loudly. It was so bad! Overwrought vocals accompanied by overwrought piano tinkling.
Avatar 10:47am
Chris from DC:

I think there's something going around the office right now. A lot of coughers.
Avatar 10:48am

Oh yes. If the coiffeurs are quaffers, one mustn't let them go dry.

  11:20am
FletcherNYC:

Love these guys!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:23am
The Oscar:

@Tim The music in Dunkin' Donuts honestly fascinates me. They make it sound like an actual radio show, complete with convincing morning zoo-style DJ banter, but if you listen closely they're just talking about donuts and coffee 24 hours a day. It weirds me out.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:26am

Hello Scott, just tuning in...
Can't say I've ever heard of Gong Gong Gong but I like what I'm hearing
Avatar 11:29am

Hey Scott - sorry if you already mentioned, but will this be going up on the FMA?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:31am
tim from champaign:

@Oscar - I haven't been to a Dunkin Donuts for a while. hahaha - sounds better than Starbucks pre-programmed crud and modern shoegaze/drippy folk crud played at independent coffee shops (where I actually prefer to pick up my coffee).

That was definitely a rad live set. Gong Gong Gong should play with Daevid Allen and then they'd be called Gong Gong Gong Gong.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:59am
