He surrounds those jams, usually mediocre at best to my untrained and perhaps far-too-sober ears, with much greatness.

When Dan introduced him to our Lowery organ, Youngs took 5 minutes to completely re-jigger his entire acoustic guitar session. Magical evening

July 16, 2018: Yellow Jokes Come Out of Your Mind, with Faust's Jean-Hervé Péron
"There is no group more mythical than Faust", said Julian Cope in his influential survey Krautrocksampler. Jean-Hervé Péron has been at the center of Faust since the very beginning, co-founding the group of radical art-errorists tasked (and funded) by Polydor to become "Germany's Beatles", and failing gloriously. Nearly 50 years later, Faust has lost none of its spontaneity, curiosity or energy. Today, Jean-Hervé joins Scott to discuss all this mad history, as well as Faust's current tour, coming to Brooklyn's Murmrr Theater on July 22.

He surrounds those jams, usually mediocre at best to my untrained and perhaps far-too-sober ears, with much greatness.
