I can thank the $1 VHS rental places that popped up all over our neighborhood

I still have dreams of finding incredible movies that don't exist in video stores that don't exist. Like finding one tucked away in a mini mall that I've never seen before.
Avatar Wed. 6/13/18 6:39pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

There's surely still an unfound video store out there

Oh... The incredible, weird and bad movie Blue Sunshine is playing in my town soon, with the director.

We have Movie Madness in Portland. It's huge. Lots of great movie props there, too.

really peculiar movie. Worth seeing, but kind of bad. But surreal. Not sure what they were thinking. Lots of weird dialog. People going crazy on a strain of LSD. Their hair falls out. They look demented. It could have had an early Cronenberg vibe, but they opted for bad TV movie drama approach instead. Has a strange sounding soundtrack.

Someone once used Good Night in a video collage I saw in DUMBO. Truly great.

So, this whole shebang is ending 11 minutes early this week, BUT it's a perfect time to go back and listen from the beginning. Links are already here!
Avatar Wed. 6/13/18 6:47pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

And this whole broader shebang might be moving to Mondays 2-4pm ET any day now. And will be live live live live
