It is produced by David Weinstein and Outpost Artists Resources operating out of the blossoming Ridgewood neighborhood, where you'll find more yellow bricks than on the road to Oz and the cemetery of your choice is never more than a few blocks from home.

Good afternoon David, Ruth, and all
Avatar Wed. 3/28/18 3:11pm david w:

Hello, Fred. I think you once told us you had seen Bertucci over there yes?
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Wed. 3/28/18 3:12pm northguineahills:

Lea!
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Wed. 3/28/18 3:12pm Webhamster Henry:

Hi David!
I did a nice drone-y performance on Monday in Poughkeepsie.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Wed. 3/28/18 3:12pm Webhamster Henry:

Hi Ruth, I know you are out there somewhere.
Avatar Wed. 3/28/18 3:14pm david w:

Hey NGH and Henry (Ruth is working on her NYSCA grant today to keep the Outpost alive). But I've got some twisty twirly drones for you today!
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Wed. 3/28/18 3:16pm fred:

@David: Yeah, I saw her twice, pretty different sets too, both great. And I just heard she'll be back in Paris next month. I hope I'll be able to go
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Wed. 3/28/18 3:18pm northguineahills:

I think it was last month when I texted Lea that you played one her sets. She was glad.
Avatar Wed. 3/28/18 3:24pm david w:

I think I played one set of hers over a year ago, from the series curated by Greg Fox. But since then?
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Wed. 3/28/18 3:30pm northguineahills:

I believe so, unless it was someone else on GTDS steam (which is possible).
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Wed. 3/28/18 3:33pm fred:

@NGH: that does ring a bell (pun intended) maybe it was something she curated or it wasn't a solo set
Avatar Wed. 3/28/18 3:35pm david w:

Actually, I think so too. I have played sets from her curatorial stuff at Pioneer Works and Knockdown.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Wed. 3/28/18 4:05pm northguineahills:

Not familiar w Mario Diaz de Leon. I dig!
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Wed. 3/28/18 4:06pm northguineahills:

closed my eyes and finally picked my swag.
Avatar    Wed. 3/28/18 4:07pm Chris from DC:

Yay! Got tipped off to this set just in time.
Avatar Wed. 3/28/18 4:08pm david w:

Follow Mario, Guaranty rewards. And Chris DC! Welcome!
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Wed. 3/28/18 4:10pm steveo:

Greetings & glad to be listening!
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Wed. 3/28/18 4:14pm fred:

I like this
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Wed. 3/28/18 4:16pm northguineahills:

This quartet is new to me too!
  Wed. 3/28/18 4:16pm Ivan:

thanks for having us on here again David!!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Wed. 3/28/18 4:20pm doctorjazz:

Hi all, enjoying the sounds!
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Wed. 3/28/18 4:20pm northguineahills:

This is phenomenologically beyond my usual verbiage.
Avatar Wed. 3/28/18 4:21pm david w:

Welcome Ivan, glad to have you on!
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Wed. 3/28/18 4:32pm fred:

How convenient for me to be home today when I'm halfway through a week when I'll see 6 shows in 5 days (dance + concerts). This show is almost worth a live one
Avatar Wed. 3/28/18 4:33pm david w:

Gotcha Fred! It is as close as you can get, I guess, to being there!
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Wed. 3/28/18 4:36pm northguineahills:

Live it up Fred! (I went a year w/o seeing a single live show, now, I see 1-2 a week now that I have the means to).
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Wed. 3/28/18 4:37pm northguineahills:

Joe just finessed my hodgepodge pledges and S4L less then an hour ago.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Wed. 3/28/18 4:43pm steveo:

say, anyone have the weather forecast?
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Wed. 3/28/18 4:48pm fred:

The guy who curates the shows where Lea B. played and will play in Paris uses tapes when he plays. I guess he'd be interested in a "Tape Music Center"
  Wed. 3/28/18 4:52pm Chris LiButti:

Do people really not usually listen to part 2? It's clearly the better one.
Avatar Wed. 3/28/18 4:52pm david w:

@Fred, there is a definite uptick not just in cassette collecting and new releases, but use of tape in performance. Onstage!
  Wed. 3/28/18 4:52pm heinseng:

Praise the lord! Or is the Lord being auctioned here
Avatar Wed. 3/28/18 4:53pm david w:

heinseng you darlings!
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Wed. 3/28/18 4:53pm fred:

@heinseng: "Appraise the lord" would fit Prof. Dum Dum's show
Avatar Wed. 3/28/18 4:55pm david w:

@Chris, couple things. Part 2 is over-the-top intense obviously, and Part 1 is an easier example of the method/process and as subject of ridicule (he's just repeating the same thing!)
  Wed. 3/28/18 4:56pm Chris LiButti:

Aaaah, gotcha. Fond memories of playing this for the first time.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Wed. 3/28/18 4:57pm steveo:

astounding! thanks for the show.
Avatar Wed. 3/28/18 4:58pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

Here, on the stream, comes: "Allowing the past to carry me (Unopened packages)", a dreamy, hypnotic, philosophical, monologic classic unearthed sound collage. Come over here! wfmu.org...
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Wed. 3/28/18 4:59pm fred:

Thanks as usual, David. I hope Ruth will convince the council to cough up enough needed dough
Avatar Wed. 3/28/18 5:00pm david w:

Yeah, everybody in New York is relieved to be past the deadline today and they are all half drunk by now. thanks Fred and y'all!
