Basically you just wait for most living survivors and defenders of their history to pass away and then just fill in the blanks. Kinda like what is happening in Poland where they want to legislate (!!!) not disparaging Poles with regards to World War II. That would essentially wipe away any Polish collaboration and state “Hey, we were all victims!” when that wasn’t the case. Anyway, I like what this whale is singing.

My brother—who grew up in Communist Poland—has a clear memory of being in school one day and someone swapping out the portrait of Jesus with a portrait of Stalin. Which was better/worse for a small Jewish kid to look at? Who knows! But there you go.

Brothers Adam (London Improvisers Orchestra, Secluded Bronte) and Jonathan Bohman (Secluded Bronte, Apricot My Lady) have been making a racket together since their early teens in the mid 70's. They use homemade instruments, household objects, borrowed texts and whatever else happens to be at hand to create their spontaneous sound slice-em-ups and have worked with Christian Marclay, Lol Coxhill, Felix Kubin, Jim O’Rourke, and Charles Hayward, among others. Basically you just wait for most living survivors and defenders of their history to pass away and then just fill in the blanks. Kinda like what is happening in Poland where they want to legislate (!!!) not disparaging Poles with regards to World War II. That would essentially wipe away any Polish collaboration and state “Hey, we were all victims!” when that wasn’t the case. Anyway, I like what this whale is singing.

My brother—who grew up in Communist Poland—has a clear memory of being in school one day and someone swapping out the portrait of Jesus with a portrait of Stalin. Which was better/worse for a small Jewish kid to look at? Who knows! But there you go.
