@djsheilab: The thing with Aaron Sorkin—and Matthew Weiner—is the create all this deep drama that is only acceptable if it’s in a serial show that compels you to watch next week, and then discuss intensely inbetween.

But take all of those high concept drama points and shove them in a 2 hour film? It’s horrible.

My condolences. I hope America can learn to make great films again.

@EarlyMorningInSeoul: My neighborhood is heavily middle eastern and as one of the few “white guys” who interacts with folks in hijabs and their kids, it’s astonishes me still how easy it is to just be nice to people—like hold doors open, help carry crap up stairs and such—and that is enough for people to feel welcome.

Just treating others as normal people is a big thing few people do.

Johnny:

Hey guys, just catching the tail end of the program today! Been so busy studying, playing on the team, and of course spending time with Berna. Love this Gloria Gaynor track! Anyhow, I've gotta jump on the team bus in a few minutes. We are headed for the championship! When I get back, I’ll tune in to the archives and see what I missed today. Have a great weekend all!
