DJ E:

Perfect accompaniment to relaxing right by the intercoastal on a breezy night.

MONEYBAG$:

I usually associate Richard

AdamFromOldeKenzo:

Nice, Matt Silcock from Blastitude called this Neil's Most Stoned Song once...
  12:07am
MONEYBAG$:

ugh, I forgot you can't type an ampersand on the app... I associate them with a crazy ex, but this show is bringing me around
  12:07am
MONEYBAG$:

I mean Richard and Linda, not ampersands

I'm only on some valerian and water this evening, but it is making me feel stoned.

DJ E:

can anyone tell me what time signature this song is in? doesn't feel like 4/4.

AdamFromOldeKenzo:

Ooh, Jakob Olausson, I was just telling a friend about a show I set up for him in Baltimore...the bill ended up a bit overbooked and I was like "STARTS AT 8 PM FOR REAL!" No one showed until like 11, then a bunch of them left at midnight because they "had to get up early tomorrow".

AdamFromOldeKenzo:

It was worth it though, he was amazing. Even though I had to go to work on like 4 hours of sleep.
Avatar 12:27am
Jeff Conklin:

@Adam: Jakob's an old friend. He used to tune in when we were on from 3-6, hope hes making some music!

MONEYBAG$:

I was reading this book about anarcho punk bands, and one of them was talking about how the phrase "typical city involved in a typical daydream" just popped into their head out of nowhere, and they had to write a song about it. And apparently in the past 30 years nobody noticed or clued him in...amazing.
Avatar 1:06am
AdamFromOldeKenzo:

@moneybag$ ha ha do you remember who it was?
Avatar 1:06am
AdamFromOldeKenzo:

or what's the book called?
  1:07am
MONEYBAG$:

The U.K. Subs
Avatar 1:08am
AdamFromOldeKenzo:

ha ha amazing.
  1:08am
MONEYBAG$:

I mean, if they really knew where the line came from they completely bullshitted the author who didn't even notice
  1:10am
MONEYBAG$:

I did see some teenage crust punks at a Furthur show once
Avatar 1:11am
AdamFromOldeKenzo:

It looks like the singer for that band was already in his 30s when he started the band...he might have done it as an intentional joke.
Avatar 1:12am
AdamFromOldeKenzo:

Black Flag were all huge Deadheads too.
  1:13am
MONEYBAG$:

hard to say because I actually knew someone who joined that band briefly in the 90s, and they had been into punk for about 3 months when they got that gig
  1:17am
MONEYBAG$:

to be honest it was Rollins who convinced me to take the Dead seriously

just wanted to chime in and say that dead block was stellar. I was parking and knew i could've streamed at home or the next day, but it was so amazing that i just sat in the car and listened to the whole thing. I mean if the Other One jam wasn't enough, that is one incredible He's Gone

Mario:

Hi, i'm listening to the show today Nov. 19 at home in southern Italy. Really amazing, thank you.
