The glory days of cramming as many records as possible on one CD. I miss that. Bargain-conglomeration -- a lost art.

OMG OMD
  9:26pm
JakeGould:

@CreamoCoyl: Funny you mention that, just discovered “Wall of Voodoo”’s CDs in Australia are basically split between all of the Stan Ridgeway stuff on one crammed CD versus all of the Andy Prieboy stuff on a 2 CD set. www.discogs.com...

Todd-o-phonic Todd:

How are the needles doing tonight?
Avatar 9:27pm
Creamo Coyl:

Early WoV rules. 'Dark Continent' is killer. Also, this is a good song.
  9:28pm
JakeGould:

@CreamoCoyl: Yeah. Fair deal for anyone in Australia who wants the first 2 LPs with Stan Ridgeway and that’s it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:29pm
DJ PB:

@Toddophonic - Uncannily clean!
Avatar 9:30pm
Creamo Coyl:

Wait, so you're saying they separated out the songs by songwriter? That's whack-y.
  9:31pm
JakeGould:

@CreamoCoyl: Nope. They just released the first 2 LPs on one CD and that is basically all Stan Ridgeway. The next 3 after that were with Any Prieboy after Stan Ridgeway left.
Avatar 9:32pm
Creamo Coyl:

Ahh. I don't know that stuff! Is it any good?
  9:33pm
JakeGould:

You mean is the Andy Prieboy stuff good? Honestly never cared for the band past the Stan Ridgeway years so there you go! “Dark Continent” and “Call of the West” are my thing.

It's ok to be really stoned, listening, and just wanting to impulsively comment on the fact that someone is playing some seriously killer tunes?
  9:38pm

Nope, you can only post here if you have a strong opinion on “Wall of Voodoo.”

Give me a moment to Google that...
