Back to school much earlier than Ny/NJ.
Hi Kim!
Spent last weekend in Eastern Kentucky, beautiful country (my daughter, who is a musical theater actress, was in a show at the Jenny Willey Theatre, was fun to see her) .
We do start early in KY - Indiana has been back for nearly 2 weeks. Glad you Enjoyed your visit to Eastern KY. It is beautiful country. Welcome all! Enjoy.
It is truly gorgeous there, but, if you weren't outdoors, there's precious little to do there. And food? They had everything you could want, as long as you want deep fried stuff (highlight:deep fried Nutella).
So very true, doctorjazz. Phil Ranelin was a Detroit trombonist who recorded for the Tribe label - played a lot with Wendell Harrison, Marcus Belgrave, David Durah - early to mid-70s.
