I think the album is actually called "1967 - Sunshine Tomorrow".

Avatar Wed. 7/5/17 3:26pm Erella:

I was at a party on the weekend. The Barenaked Ladies song "Brian Wilson" was playing. (!)
Two women were standing next to me.
"Do you know who Brian Wilson is"
"I think he was in the Beach Boys"
"Oh Nice. Is that the name of a band?"
  Wed. 7/5/17 3:28pm Laura L:

Per Chicago Manual of Style, there should be no hyphen in "mistake maker." Sorry.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Wed. 7/5/17 3:29pm rrg:

You guys, why I oughta....
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Wed. 7/5/17 3:29pm Irwin:

He was hyphenating according to the Scotch Plains Manual of Style.

You gotta go punch the editors at U of Chicago.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Wed. 7/5/17 3:33pm Irwin:

I checked the title on the Amazon Manual of Style. RRG is correct. Fixed.

Avatar Wed. 7/5/17 3:56pm geezerette:

Love Carl Stalling. We like to crank it up in the desert and watch the local wildlife. Pretty sure the animators got smashed doing same, probably in Palm Springs.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Wed. 7/5/17 3:57pm Irwin:

You mean Termite Terrace? (Look it up.)
Avatar Wed. 7/5/17 3:59pm geezerette:

Got the 2 CD set.
Yeah, well acquainted with Termite Terrace. Much wilder than Buena Vista guys.
  Wed. 7/5/17 4:00pm Tom:

Carl stalling volume two is actually better because there is complete cartoon soundtracks on it as opposed to just excerpts. And a lot less sound effects and dialogue
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Wed. 7/5/17 4:01pm Planet Tyler:

Yup, Looney Tunes was definitely a good place to pick up good music!
Avatar Wed. 7/5/17 4:01pm The Oscar:

I remember the first time I heard Raymond Scott, it blew my mind that those themes had TITLES. Stalling's scores were so elemental that I couldn't imagine those tunes not existing. Also, Bugs Bunny was my introduction to a good chunk of the Great American Songbook.
  Wed. 7/5/17 4:03pm berbo:

I would vote for the late Tom Wilson.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Wed. 7/5/17 4:04pm rrg:

Neither Shazam nor SoundHound know what this is. But Tom will set us straight.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Wed. 7/5/17 4:05pm Passaic River Blues:

Tom is off to a flying start on this one.

Avatar Wed. 7/5/17 4:09pm geezerette:

...Although, there was a brilliant layout artist at Disney who brought a thermos full of martinis every morning and would often have two more for lunch at Don Cucos in Burbank. He'd give the olives to young co workers and end by hanging a spoon off his nose. Always thought he should have been at WB.
