Avatar Swag For Life Member 🎃 Sun. 6/18/17 3:56am ultradamno:

In High School I rented Siren from the library. It unfortunately put me off Roxy for years. Still don't like it, though I came around on the earlier stuff.
  Sun. 6/18/17 3:57am BucksCoHowie:

Yeah Manifesto was a comeback of sorts
  Sun. 6/18/17 4:00am BucksCoHowie:

That your high school even had Roxy albums, pretty cool

Harry Partch! The good ol' days, Gavin Bryrars, John Cage, Terry Riley...

All the Dome done walked off! I know we have those Mute CDs but they ain't on the wall and struck out on wax. SOrry! Got some at home, bring it next week.

That rare stuff tends to grow legs shucks
  Sun. 6/18/17 5:11am BucksCoHowie:

Etron Fou...got an LP here by Ferdinand Richard, En Avant, is that close?
Avatar Sun. 6/18/17 5:12am Creamo Coyl:

Yeah but there's tons more rare shit here that stays put. Feel like it got misfiled? Dunno how tho. Got some Dome-like stuff coming up STAY TUNED.
  Sun. 6/18/17 5:13am BucksCoHowie:

Man this stuff if Fresh...feeling rejuvenated...not going anywhere
  Sun. 6/18/17 5:16am BucksCoHowie:

Synchronicity? You make me feel so Jung
Avatar Swag For Life Member 🎃 Sun. 6/18/17 5:18am ultradamno:

Ferdinand was in Etron. His stuff is definitely in the same vein, but the best Etron stuff is wilder
  Sun. 6/18/17 5:19am BucksCoHowie:

I'll check it out.
A few degrees removed from Heldon.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 🎃 Sun. 6/18/17 5:24am ultradamno:

Yeah, Guru Guru that couldn't be a coincidence (and this style of music makes it seem more likely)
Avatar Sun. 6/18/17 5:26am Creamo Coyl:

Yup and then there's Brain Records.
  Sun. 6/18/17 5:27am BucksCoHowie:

Guru Guru....haven't heard that name for years...tho I saw Faust back in '97, rawked the howse
Avatar Sun. 6/18/17 5:28am Creamo Coyl:

I saw Faust back then. So good.
  Sun. 6/18/17 5:30am BucksCoHowie:

Gira claims to be influenced by Can and Neu...you can hear it on the late '90s stuff
  Sun. 6/18/17 5:31am BucksCoHowie:

Swans and WoS that is
  Sun. 6/18/17 5:32am BucksCoHowie:

Creamo sound like the aforementioned Dome teaser n'est pas?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 🎃 Sun. 6/18/17 5:34am ultradamno:

I can kind of see that in early stuff like Filth as well, actually. More martial and punishing, obviously, but as repetitious with the groove as The Fall or PiL.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Sun. 6/18/17 5:35am sinister dexter:

good stuff , thanks Creamo
Avatar Sun. 6/18/17 5:36am greysquad:

Ok, props for playing the best H.N.A.S cut evah... Please play it all the way through per favore!
Avatar Sun. 6/18/17 5:37am greysquad:

oh yezzzz!
  Sun. 6/18/17 5:38am BucksCoHowie:

If you can hear Krautrock on Filth, you have better ears than me
  Sun. 6/18/17 5:39am BucksCoHowie:

Yeah Creamo...so many memories triggered...but trult great stuff in the NOW
Avatar Sun. 6/18/17 5:41am greysquad:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 🎃 Sun. 6/18/17 5:41am ultradamno:

Thank you. Man, this show has just sped by.
  Sun. 6/18/17 5:43am BucksCoHowie:

This HNAS stuff is new to me but I hear Swans Are Dead all over the place yeaoo...really great!
Avatar Sun. 6/18/17 5:43am greysquad:

I'd say that this H.N.A.S piece beats at least 3/4's of anything NWW produced....
Avatar Sun. 6/18/17 5:44am Creamo Coyl:

HNAS def holds their own w/ NWW
  Sun. 6/18/17 5:45am BucksCoHowie:

Hip me to NWW
  Sun. 6/18/17 5:47am BucksCoHowie:

So I hear Swans got a lead guitarist heh
Avatar Sun. 6/18/17 5:48am Creamo Coyl:

Nurse With Wound have about a million albums, most of which are great. Not even sure to tell you where to dig in, maybe the first album is as good as any -- Chance Meeting On A Dissecting Table Of A Sewing Machine And An Umbrella. I played a bunch of NWW (mixed together) a few weeks ago.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 🎃 Sun. 6/18/17 5:48am ultradamno:

I'd suggest Automating Vol. 1 as a good place to start.
  Sun. 6/18/17 5:49am BucksCoHowie:

I stand schooled thank you!
Avatar Sun. 6/18/17 5:49am greysquad:

It's like NWW meets Faust
Avatar Sun. 6/18/17 5:51am Creamo Coyl:

If you like Dome, you'd prob like NWW.
  Sun. 6/18/17 5:52am BucksCoHowie:

Just when you thought you heard everything right? :-D
Avatar Sun. 6/18/17 5:54am Creamo Coyl:

There's like 47586 NWW albums, so better start now!
  Sun. 6/18/17 5:55am BucksCoHowie:

I'll get right on it after bitter dregs..aaahh, bitter dregs
Avatar Sun. 6/18/17 5:55am Creamo Coyl:

Avatar Sun. 6/18/17 5:57am greysquad:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 🎃 Sun. 6/18/17 5:57am ultradamno:

NWW are on a really good comp called The Portable Altamont with a collab. with Organum that's a particular favorite. Great Current 93 and Drunks With Guns cuts on that too
