40 years ago a musician friend obtained a bumper sticker from a newly opened music supply place, the bumper sticker read, 'Support Your Local Musician Rock World Oklahoma City, Ok.' He cut it apart, rearanged the letters to read, " Slurp up a loco musicians rot. Rock Wart. Cidly, Ok' and pasted the thing onto the back of his Rambler. I will never forget that.

@cliff That is funny! @Cecilel WV has had snow flurries between days of record shattering high temps will be in 70's on Friday. It is pathetic how desperate the national weather forcasters are for big stories, they are playing up the fact that New York will get A WHOLE FOOT, YES! MEASURED IN FOOTS, ONE FOOT OF SNOW!
Avatar 🎸 3:58pm
Carmichael:

@Sem: We suddenly have the opposite problem. We are opening the weirs (by hand, that's how often we need them) to fill the Davis causeway, and closing the floodgates to protect North Sacramento from flooding. The levees are actually imperiled. Exciting stuff ...

@Sem: Yes. But there was so much more to it. Karuizawa was another lost distillery that had great stuff that had peat but went way beyond it. Why do my fave distilleries go out of business? Is that related to my love of weird music?
