i just noticed my unfortunate loss for being out of the room before. i've been listening to Bridget St. John's first album a lot. i don't know the fly high album.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:45am
coelacanth:

oh, duh. "fly high" must be a comp.
Avatar 3:56am
Scraps:

You know, I don't think I noticed. Really? Man, I played both of them a lot!
Avatar 3:59am
Scraps:

Maybe I didn't play them consecutively. That's my embarrassed defense!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:00am
coelacanth:

i had replicas first and remember, when i got the first one, thinking it had strongly similar tracks, but -and uncharacteristically un-geeklike, i don't remember noticing that either...and they are VERY similar!
Avatar 4:02am
Samantha:

I know I just noticed it tonight!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:07am
coelacanth:

i think i have to play those albums soon.
that means i'll finally find out if i can even use my turntable in my new apartment. i think the vibration through the floor is prohibitive.

Scraps:

There's a really good edition of the first album with a live album attached. Very interesting

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:14am
coelacanth:

oh Scraps i'd like to hear that!
...and Samantha if you ever listen to (the 'stones') goats head soup, "100 years ago" is a pretty awesome song.
"heartbreaker" is another; and "winter" if it's on that.

Got a vacation coming up soon, 7 days by myself in Quebec City. Wanna do some reading, taking the train from NYC, maybe Westlake's the ticket... which ones are good?

Bom dia from sunny Tuesday morning in Lisbon -- such a big fan of this show!! Obrigado Samantha!

I don't know how many are in print. But. The John Dortmunder novels are great. He's a burglar and a elaborate planner whose plans somehow go very wrong.
