I saw a white squirrel near a pizza restaurant called ZA. Do you think it finds calling a pizza "za" irritating? The grey squirrels I've talked to definitely feel that way.

I've been cataloging and labeling tons of digital photos I have been taking since 1999 or so. Tons of squirrel photos since they liked to sleep in the tree outside my window in one place. And I have tons of pics of black squirrels that would occasionally show up. No white squirrels though.

I used to see to frequently see black squirrels in Franklin Square in Santa Clara, California. Black squirrels are an example of polymorphism, where several distinct type are present in a single interbreeding population; for example, black bears are as likely to be brown, tan or reddish as black. The black phase in squirrrels is called melanism, and is most commonly found in urban squirrel populations.

i come from a railroading family & my grandfather worked with a man who trapped black squirrels in iowa and brought them here. now there is a small population ov black squirrels amongst the brown ones.<true><never seen an albino>

"Death of a Clown" has a word in it unfamiliar to most Americans. The clown says "my makeup is dry and and clags on my chin." To clag is British slang for to stick.The word must also be used in other parts of the Commonwealth; there is an Australian brand of glue called Clag.
