what again is the band that put "psychedelic Freakout"?
  4:32pm Al:

@Guido: Barbarellatones. Bill will post the playlist after the show.
  4:33pm antwort:

@Guido von Koln: that was the Barbarellatones -see last week's playlist

Brightmores - "On the radio" had an Ugly-Beats-like melody
  4:38pm Al:

Listened to another DJ last week who played a whole set of songs from 1966 - He agreed with Bill that it was a great year.
Avatar 4:44pm geezerette:

He hit her and it felt like a kiss. What a crazy record! She's so cheery about it!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:45pm Guido from Cologne:

Terrific show as always Mr. Kelly!
Happy week.
:)
  4:59pm "Yellow River":

was recorded by the Tremeloes, (see theirs on YT) who didn't want to use it so the voice of a Jeff Christie was subbed who had the hit
6:40pm Rush Limbaugh used to be Jeff Christie:

Oh, the aforementioned Jeff Christie wrote "Yellow River" (and a Tremeloe's brother's band was paraded as band Christie) . . . Been watching all YT's Britemore vids
  12:49pm NYCROCK:

FLUX MACHINE! Yeaaah!
  9:11am Behind the "Yellow River":

Jeff Christie posted a 2003 1/2hr Dutch TV doc on YT devoted entirely to interviewing the players about what's told above, including how a Spanish language version a South American promoter asked the Tremeloes to do, "No Comprendes," was a smash there. (Likely not about a Civil Warrior returning to home town Yellow River on leave.)

5:36pm two, two, two songs in one!:

Was your show-starting mash-up meant to say Kylie Minogue is a fool?
