Re Bowie and Philip Glass: Glass didn't "do 2 CDs of orchestrations" based on Low & Heroes -- he wrote 2 Symphonies, I believe with Bowie & Eno's input to some extent. They have been recorded more then once by different orchestras, so more than 2 cd's. Arkivmusic lists most, if not all of these. Re requests - If you have the recording, could you play Baal? Would love to hear, as well as more of the Glass symphonies. Thanks for this wonderful broadcast!

I made a mix tape back in '96 and put a version of "Space Oddity". Unbeknownst to me, while recording it, my turntable lost the left channel, and my cassette recorder recorded the result in mono. So, for years, I had no idea there was so much more going on the recording, until I listened to it carefully w/ both channels restored years later.
