Hi, Scott. I was planning to ask your opinion of the US/Mexico game this weekend, but it looked like you weren't going to be around. If US loses, do you think Klinsmann is out?

Scott McDowell:

I like Klinsy should go, Ken. He would've already if it was another FA. I wrote this the other day:

He often makes baffling player selections, he overtrains his team resulting in injuries, he's a below-average tactician, and he deflects blame on everyone from individual players to referees to player fitness to American soccer fans and culture without taking any accountability himself. The lackluster results speak for themselves, aside from a few splashy (admittedly exciting and important) friendly wins. I like him and was doing a better job and I think someone else could do a better job.

I do think he's a good recruiter and I do think youth soccer is in a better place today partly due him. ok rant over.

Hello Scott, bit late. The chains round Blatter are tightening. The poor saps to replace him do not look too clever either. What a shambles.
Klinsmann was a forward/striker and therefore is answerable to no one!!

Scott McDowell:

I read Blatter was suspended for 90 days and then he decided not to be! Haha, he is doomed!
