Goddamn, this is the Damned mimicking the Who !
Avatar 12:31pm

they mimic love pretty well, too. They do a nice cover of Alone Again Or, I think.
Avatar 12:32pm
Rev. Turnip Druid:

AH, nice. I had the "anything" title track as an earworm for about a month when the record came out. It could have been much worse.
Avatar 12:33pm
Rev. Turnip Druid:

...surely the video (and Night Flight on USA Networks) was to blame.
Avatar 12:34pm

dammit, I miss Night Flight still.
I think the kids would love old weird videos. Someone needs to revive it.
Avatar 12:35pm
Rev. Turnip Druid:

Haven't heard this tune or seen the video since those days, yet the whole damned thing is playing in my brain-eye now. Funny. I suppose nothing is forgotten.

'In Dolce Decorum' was always a fave from this LP, as was the swell Love cover, etc.

Someone needs to digitify their old VHS tapes of Night Flight and get that onto the web for us geezers to enjoy.
Avatar 12:36pm

I've been a fan of Arthur Lee and Love since their 1st album in '66. Thanks to my older brother who commuted to SVA in NYC every day from Connecticut. He brought home LPs almost every week !

Leaving to hear The Stunt Show on the JM in the AM stream. Nachum doesn't seem to have a Web-based comment stream available, so I'll report here on what it's like, if you don't mind. The title intrigues me.

Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

- this works fine.
  1:13pm
Listener Robert:

I didn't think until now to Google "The Stunt Show", and I see now from the descriptions of the archives that what they're streaming at this moment is not an aberration, which means that the title is ironic, I guess. Also means it's not a new program for the new year, as I'd thought. It's a discussion program of serious topics, done seriously. Not what I was looking for. Maybe there's a story somewhere as to how it got that title.
Avatar 1:14pm

Apparently according to 5tjt.com... , they did do occasional stunts. Maybe a pattern was established, then broken, but the name stuck.

Looks like I'll come back here. It was a revealing digression, though.
