Favoriting Brian Turner: Playlist from March 24, 2015 Favoriting

Order and disorder in a freeform haze of terribly-played guitars, shorted-out electronics, found audio detritus, strange sounds from strange lands all around. Psych-punk-junk, collage, even pop. Lots of in-studio live performances to boot.

Chris- Roll the Bones Tour. I saw them at the illustrious Hartford Civic Center 12/13/1991. The website says Primus wasn't there for that gig but I was there primarily for them at the time so I remember it well. The person in front of me had an amazing Fly by Night airbrushed denim jacket!

Brian, the two easiest shows to get to the bathroom for me were Metallica at the Metrodome and Cecil Taylor on the U of M campus. There were 1/10 the amount of women in the audience. It was the opposite of most dance nights I've been to.

@Brian - guess it depends on who's compiling. I've got a box set of Chano Pozo ("El Tambor de Cuba"), and they give him the writing credit for "Nague" (he's playing on it). Valdes is definitely the singer.
