It just might be the best capybara gif you see today.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:58am
listener james from westwood:

Capybaras! Earth's most regal rodent.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:01pm
doctorjazz:

Hi all, may be the last time I can post, but always happy when the stream slips past the office firewall!!!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:02pm
Stevel:

While I refuse to complain about or 'wish' the cold away, I am pretty much done with it this year.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:04pm
Amanda:

Welcome Listener James, Stevel, and especially the sneaky doctorjazz!

one more week, stevel, then we're singing.

listener james from westwood:

I'm quite done with the snow, too. I had a big party planned for Sat. night, one I'd postponed once due to snow in January, that got snowed out. Had to cancel. Stuck with tons of food, and, pertinent to this cut, shitloads of beer.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:06pm
Polyus:

Amanda, can you explain to the tech-stupid out here (i.e., me) why the GTDR stream is not available in mono? I only get to use one earbud at work.
Avatar 12:07pm
glenn:

also, can i just mention how awesome farrow and ball paint is?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:07pm
Stevel:

So far, this set is warming me up. Please continue.

P-90:

Happy Capybara, DJ Amanda and all the Nazarini here assembled!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:09pm
Stevel:

In this Butthole Surfers' selection, I am picturing smiling yet frenzied capybaras rushing about a junkyard.

This either makes me creative or in need of counseling.
  12:10pm
Dean:

@Polyus, If you're using VLC media player you can deliver mono. Maybe WMP allows the same setting.
Avatar 12:12pm

@Dean, listening via the WFMU app on my phone.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:13pm

@Dean, thanks for the suggestion -- and @Polyus, I don't have the answer to your Q but can certainly raise the topic with our awesome support person Jeff M.

Now we're talking tech-stupid (i.e., me)! I don't have a phone that hosts apps, so I can't help with that particular problem. The settings don't permit mono? Looks like Dominick has a solution up there ^.

P-90:

Once upon a time, in the not-so-distant past, the Central Park Zoo was just....part of the park. One could just stroll through it casually without buying a ticket. and there was an old bored looking male lion with a huge mane, a tiger who would focus on small passing children and "stalk" them as they walked by, and the Monkey House, which smelled so strongly of urine that your eyes would water as you walked through. And: there was an outdoor pen occupied year 'round by a pair of capybaras, who would wait for those who sat on benches nearby eating lunch to throw them scraps, and who would make territorial snorting sounds at your dog if you walked her too close to the fence around their pen.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:20pm
Polyus:

Yeah, Dominick, that's really cool. Thanks!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:21pm
Polyus:

@Dean - the WFMU itself is available mono, but not any of the other streams.

Exactly. I'm fascinated that the gambler isn't allowed to drink, but he IS allowed to die pathetically in this song for kids!

@Sean: It was a great sitcom, one of only like 3 good ones in the past 10 years. A good decision to quit while they were ahead, IMO.
