Really, really, REALLY digging your show today. Wasn't up at 3--did you really play "Echoes" twice, or is that a mistake on the playlist?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:27am
Matt ww:

Torbjørn:

What would be a synonym for album, though ? .. Rekkid ? "Collection of songs known as" ? Long-player ? We could repeat "album" so much that it semantically disappears, that might be fun. Enjoying the show.

Anyone remember this Don Felder being used on that South Park "cheesing" episode during Kenny's trip into inner space?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:07am
Matt ww:

@torbjorn I think from now on i'm just going to call them beep boops. Just sounds cute. @wood-elf I've been cheesed out for this whole show.

Let's hear it for the steel drum! *Applause*

P-90:

Splitting up a track like "Echoes" and "framing" a few other, shorter songs with it is exactly the kind of thing I'd try myself if I was DJ-ing.
Especially if it was an overnight shift.
  5:34am
P-90:

And yeah, who amongst us does not have a soft spot for steel drums?
Avatar 5:36am

Why The NUGE of course!!!!
  5:42am

OK, if one just HAS to go Brit, it's in the
Zeppelin/Floyd/Yes/Tull zone.

the Canterbury wood-elf:

Who decides what's "classic"?
  5:51am
P-90:

Probably Queen too, but they came so close to the end of the decade, they're almost contemporaries with Police, Talking Heads, Ramones, Blondie, etc., bands that were around in the 70's but are really "eighties" bands, and may or may not fit the "classic rock" genre definition you're using.

All right then Spirit is my American pick.
