Please ask Glyn Johns about working with Del Shannon. Del's album produced by Andrew Loog Oldham was originally planned for release with the title "Home & Away" but its released was delayed a whole DECADE before being released on a budget label entitled "And the Music Plays On". Fans of Del and Oldham belatedly recognized the brilliance of the songwriting, arrangements, and effective use of multi-tracking Del's voice on lead, harmony, and back-up throughout this album. On some tracks, Del's double track vocals are on top of each other in the center track, while others are separated on left & right tracks. Very effectively done.
