Charlie Haden, what a great voice on the bass. He made another album of spirituals with Hank Jones, called "Steal Away." Great stuff.

I'd never heard that Osborne cover of the Cap'n -- thanks, Bob! I adore Joan and Don and loved her version. Only would have wanted it a bit less produced.
