Saw Chrissie on the Colbert show -- was surprised to find that she still had, totally. Lotta sauce.
  3:30pm Dave in PA:

Nervine! Take Me Away!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:30pm pacific standard simon:

It's good to hear your voice, and your music, again, Bill. Been a while, what with work.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:00pm pacific standard simon:

Dave, don't eat the Calgon!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:07pm pacific standard simon:

As good as those first few Roxy (and solo Ferry) albums are, Bryan Ferry's voice got nothing but better, after them.
  4:07pm Dave in PA:

I had this Fats single on 78 once - what's it worth now, I wonder?
  4:11pm Dave in PA:

but... I'm still of the opinion that Louis Jordan inadvertently invented Rock N Roll...
  4:13pm Dave in PA:

Listening here in PA with a couple of McIntosh MC-30's, Altec Model 19's and a cold Warsteiner or three...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:15pm pacific standard simon:

Good choice, Dave. There's a webstream called Roots of Rock that plays that and a lot of other related material. Actually, I might vote for Fats Waller inventing R'n'R.
  4:16pm Dave in PA:

Well, he certainly invented David Lynch, if nothing else ;-)

I can't help it -- gotta see if The Giants are gonna at least pull a split series out of this homestand. Let's see if I can continue to listen to Mr. Kelly AND clean my den, all at the same time!
  4:22pm Dave in PA:

Si, se puede!
  4:24pm Dave in PA:

Bill jeez get that 45 centered on the spindle! I'm gettin' sea-sick!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:24pm pacific standard simon:

Oh, and brining the pork chops. Multi-tasking on a Sunday afternoon!
  4:26pm Dave in PA:

Why can't every day be Sunday?
  4:30pm Dave in PA:

Hanover, PA - home of the Snyder Pretzel!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:37pm pacific standard simon:

I used to love Snyders when I was young and unafraid (of breaking a crown).
  4:42pm Dave in PA:

What is the sound of one Germanium transistor clapping? Bill Kelly!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:42pm pacific standard simon:
