     Mon. 5/26/14 12:13pm Tamar:

Greetings, listeners! Happy Memorial Day! (unless you're memorializing, then it's not so happy)
Avatar Mon. 5/26/14 12:16pm bibi:

hi tamar and all. salut pierre.
i meet a bunch of new people in wfmuland today. is it cause it is bank holiday in north america ?
     Mon. 5/26/14 12:22pm 12539:

Tamar, that Breuer sounded more like a mambo than a mabo to me.
  Mon. 5/26/14 12:23pm P-90:

@ bibi: It's more than just a bank holiday the way you mean, it's one of the 5 "3-day weekend" holidays when everything comes to a standstill and almost everyone gets the day off, like even some FMU DJ's have today...
     Mon. 5/26/14 12:27pm Tamar:

Picky, picky! Corrected.
Avatar Mon. 5/26/14 12:34pm pierre:

  Mon. 5/26/14 12:45pm P-90:

"sah-zee-em lehsson"
Avatar    Mon. 5/26/14 12:46pm I k e:

Hi Tamar! @Bibi, we don't have the term "bank holiday" in the U.S. That's a British-ism. Fortunately a few of us watch a lot of British TV, so we understand. :) But yes, P-90 got it right.
Avatar Mon. 5/26/14 12:47pm pierre:

I believe P-90's way is better
Avatar    Mon. 5/26/14 12:47pm davex:

Bonjour Tamar et TLM...
  Mon. 5/26/14 12:48pm P-90:

OOPs, more like "SEE-zee-em", the first way I tried sounds more like "16th" than "6th"
Avatar    Mon. 5/26/14 12:48pm davex:

Always good to see you back, Tamar.
Avatar    Mon. 5/26/14 12:51pm JakeGould:

  Mon. 5/26/14 1:00pm frenchee:

Tamar at the turntables, huzzah!
  Mon. 5/26/14 1:03pm frenchee:

I thought this was Bryan Ferry singing for a moment. Just a moment.
  Mon. 5/26/14 1:03pm thriftstoreleather:

     Mon. 5/26/14 1:16pm Tamar:

Avatar    Mon. 5/26/14 1:37pm Jeff:

Still reeling from the wonder of that MAN ... AmeriCAN rhyme.
  Mon. 5/26/14 1:38pm Peter K.:

This song was NOT written by "the" Ray Charles, I guarantee you. The Ray Charles who led the Ray Charles Singers, maybe. NOT the Ray Charles who sang "What'd I Say." Great show so far, by the way.
Avatar    Mon. 5/26/14 1:39pm coelacanth:

Hi Tamar. I met you at the record fair, once, at this location, with Rich...so that's a long time ago, when you were at midnight. I carried records to a truck.(etc)
