Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 3:37pm DCE:

my 13 yr old son and I were driving through downtown yesterday and he was getting astounded by the architecture and "how does all this get done?". I told him to work hard at his MATH!

@Mike East: I tasted some fine Californian product, really gives hope about your land
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 4:07pm fred:

Details: Sonoma County Rye, 96 proof, delicious. Really, the "delicious" label was mine, and I assume it. It's worth it
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 4:09pm Carmichael:

I'm quite close to Sonoma, Fred. I'll have to go shop for some.
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 4:09pm Mike East:

right on, fred. I thought there were all about the grapes there.
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 4:11pm Mike East:

I had some pretty decent tequila over the weekend, but the brand name escapes me.
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 4:12pm Carmichael:

As long as it wasn't Kirkland, Mike.
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 4:15pm Mike East:

what's that, like Costco brand Kirkland? Ick.
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 4:15pm kirk from beer city usa:

this is fabulous. I suppose this is one of those richard pinhas records that is impossible to get?
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 4:16pm Scott Williams:

hi Kirk - depends if you require physical media
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 4:21pm fred:

@Carmichael: it's supposed to be a barber shop, like third generation. But brewing the good stuff in the back yard. The tale might be fake, but the booze is delicious.
  Mon. 3/31/14 4:22pm paula pc:

I owned at SH-101 at age 16. Adored it. Parents sold it out from under me. Have never, ever forgiven them.
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 4:28pm Scott Williams:

Paula!! Agggghhh, the horror! I had to sell my Moog Source for rent. That hurt. At least I couldn't blame it on anyone
  Mon. 3/31/14 4:30pm paula pc:

yours is worse -- it was a Moog. I can blame myself for not making clear how much that little machine meant to me.
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 4:31pm Carmichael:

@Fred: Apparently, the story is true: www.masterofmalt.com...
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 4:31pm steve:

not quite as intense but sold my Micromoog and a small pile of Casio SK-1s to make rent a while back. group hug.
  Mon. 3/31/14 4:32pm paula pc:

@ steve -- feeling your pain!
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 4:33pm Serpico:

darn missed Coil!!
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 4:33pm dc pat:

may I just but in here for moment to say Igor is really ripping it? Ok, thanks.
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 4:33pm Scott Williams:

pouring some on the curb for you too Steve! did the sampler still work on any of the sk-1s?
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 4:34pm Serpico:

Igor is such a gothic name
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 4:36pm DCE:

he played a very gothic game
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 4:38pm fred:

@carmichael: I wish I could support that guy, he's got some some some values I endorse
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 4:41pm steve:

yup, sampler still worked on all three. two were extensively circuit bent and functioned perfect with all bends turned off. in retrospect i regret not keeping just one of the three. it was part of my own internal backlash against circuit bending once i started studying electronics in school...
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 4:44pm Scott Williams:

ouch... never throw anything away!!!! except records.
  Mon. 3/31/14 4:52pm David:

Big Star and T-Rex, nice
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 4:53pm Carmichael:

This sounds like a demented Al Stewart.
  Mon. 3/31/14 4:54pm blee:

I'm scared.

Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 5:04pm Mike East:

  Mon. 3/31/14 5:07pm Lulu:

I love your bed music, Scott. It's so comforting/reassuringly familiar after all of these years. (It's called bed music, right?)
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 5:09pm Dave B:

greetings and salutations
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 5:10pm Scott Williams:

aw thanks Lulu! Yup, that's what they call it.
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 5:12pm fred:

I think we share some values those bots can't share. Let's share the few months we have left before they overtake our love for peat
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 5:14pm Carmichael:

I've always loved peat.
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 5:16pm Ike:

@Mike East, I've found that Nomorobo stops a lot of them. It's free (so far) but it only works with digital and certain types of phone lines. nomorobo.com

But I don't think Nomorobo would stop that FMU classic, the evil demon robot that WILL NOT CEASE IN ITS EFFORTS to catch Scott... eep! Yikes!
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 5:18pm Mike East:

good tip, Ike. Thanks!
  Mon. 3/31/14 5:19pm P-90:

Hooray and Huzzah for Carver & Cucci!
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 5:20pm V Priceless:

great Bonzos track!
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 5:22pm fred:

@Carmichael: Peat will solve it all; Guinness is good for you
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 5:23pm Carmichael:

Hey Mike, thanks for the Nomorobo tip! I just added it to my landline.
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 5:24pm Carmichael:

I grew up in Ireland, Fred. I know all about peat, for better or worse ...
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 5:25pm dvd:

well hey there scott! sorry, just catching the end of the show.
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 5:26pm Scott Williams:

DVD! Welcome, nice to see you
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 5:26pm steve:

does anyone else constantly get calls from a robo caller claiming to be "Ann from Account Services"?
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 5:27pm northguineahills:

Not currently...,
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 5:33pm fred:

@Carmichael: I hope they make better whisky, it's about time
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 5:34pm northguineahills:

Why am I just now hearing Charles Earland?
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 5:37pm Droll:

. o O ( Hello, neskoóhAt! )
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 5:39pm northguineahills:

I have some Cecil Leuter library recs, but Gerges Teperino is new to me.
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 5:40pm Scott Williams:

ngh, this track is poppier than most. it's been previously anthologized on Barry 7's Connectors (killer comps!)
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 5:40pm Ike:

@Steve, I used to get those. The good old vague "Account Services" with no other info, ha! Hmm, are there any bands called Account Services yet?
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 5:42pm steve:

haha. Account Services is a good name.
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 5:45pm Carmichael:

Hey, a Records cover!
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 5:46pm chris:

Hallucinatory therapy session complete, then? I feel better already.
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 5:49pm northguineahills:

Cool, thanks Scott!
Avatar Mon. 3/31/14 5:54pm maestroso:
