Avatar Sun. 3/16/14 3:35am gneba:

morning jonathan.....interesting sounds for a sunday morn.....I like it......off to Glasgow today, so won't hear whole show....just a pity Volcanic Tongue ain't open on a sunday
Avatar Sun. 3/16/14 3:38am Jherweg:

They're not?? those lazy fuckers. I actually think I remember that, I tried to go on a sunday when I was in Glasgow. I think there are other records stores though right??
Avatar Sun. 3/16/14 3:43am Jherweg:

They close on Sunday so they can write their super pretentious record reviews that make you feel like you're not cool enough and make what they are selling seem like some super limited piece of gold that you absolutely can't live without. I avoid V. Tongue only because the exchange rate on currency is so bad. They have a fantastic selection though .
Sun. 3/16/14 3:51am Steve from Glasgow:

Morning Jon

Get some caffeine in ..... Love the show
Sun. 3/16/14 3:52am Steve from Glasgow:

Lazy Glasgow fuckers

Avatar Sun. 3/16/14 3:56am Jherweg:

Steve's from Glasgow but he's never Been to Volcanic Tongue.
Avatar Sun. 3/16/14 3:59am gneba:

yeh there other record stores....monorail....avalanche (changed its name now tho)...haven't been for a while so bound to be new ones...v.tongue do feed that 'exclusive' vibe, no doubt, but still got outstanding taste...and yeh, exchange rate for us to get records from the states is good right now, bad for you guys....@steve from Glasgow - any good record store recommendations??
  Sun. 3/16/14 3:59am mike m from Cardiff:

Thanks for playing Vocokesh / Krampuso split - I am in space. I need a copy of that LP!

Avatar Sun. 3/16/14 5:23am Stanley:

One of the songs of Milarepa?
Avatar Sun. 3/16/14 5:27am Stanley:

Attaining misery is not Buddhism!
Avatar Sun. 3/16/14 5:28am Whooda:

Budda learned that extreme sacrifice was "not the way", that life, like a guitar string, must be neither too tight or too lose. That's a fundemental teaching of Budda.
Avatar Sun. 3/16/14 5:30am Stanley:

Wat Wooda said - the middle way, free from extremes.
Avatar Sun. 3/16/14 5:31am Jherweg:

Elimination of desire is impossible.
Avatar Sun. 3/16/14 5:35am Stanley:

It is impossible, so long as you want to eliminate it.
Avatar Sun. 3/16/14 5:37am Jherweg:

Free Form radio is my religion and I'm sticking to it. I worship at the temple of WFMU.
Avatar Sun. 3/16/14 5:38am Whooda:

Nirvana is the state of escape from all desire. It is possible to attain but not practical to maintain in an unelightened awareness (day to day physical existance).

Yay, this track is pure dope.

Avatar Sun. 3/16/14 5:58am Whooda:

There's nothing quite like the texture to the palate like that toasted muffin and sausage grizzle seperated by that soft egg and melted cheese. Cheers!
