Hey DJ Nick Name Hope you have fun tonight. I'm a little punchy and thought you said you were going to play some Tapioca Pencil from the new bin, then realized I should probably get on to bed now.
     Fri. 3/14/14 12:11am Nick Name:

Hi Whooda, ha ha…. i think Brian Turner (Music Director) will have that next week for us in the new bin! have a good rest / weekend
Avatar    Fri. 3/14/14 12:13am fleep:

It's been years since Tapioca Pencil put out an album. Hope there's a tour.
     Fri. 3/14/14 12:17am Nick Name:

well there is, but, not the full band , the split years back still weighs heavy on one of them
  Fri. 3/14/14 12:34am P-90:

proggy-liscious!
     Fri. 3/14/14 12:36am Nick Name:

Hi P-90 !
  Fri. 3/14/14 12:37am P-90:

Hi Nick! If these tracks are the build-up to that new Tapioca Pencil, we're in for a real treat...
     Fri. 3/14/14 12:42am Nick Name:

@ P-90 :Ha Ha
@Fleep : in the Tapioca confusion / excitement i didn't say hi - hello !
@ everyone : hello all goodnight / good morning - FREEFORM radio lives on for another year
Avatar Fri. 3/14/14 12:59am Tome:

Thought I was hearing Billy Cobham.
     Fri. 3/14/14 1:06am Nick Name:

Hi Andrew Waterloo - thx for joining
Avatar Fri. 3/14/14 1:18am Droll:

Sorry so late. I missed Tapioca Pencil?! Worse, I missed something described as "Proggy-liscious". Thank you archives! What was Prog-o-licious?
Avatar Fri. 3/14/14 1:20am Andrew Waterloo:

yw Nick Name, but time for to go.. g'night
     Fri. 3/14/14 1:22am Nick Name:

@ AW : see you soon - have a good weekend
     Fri. 3/14/14 1:23am Nick Name:

Droll!! : no worries - it was the Bobby Conn track
Avatar Fri. 3/14/14 1:34am Droll:

Was "Meaner Pencil" the "Tapioca Pencil" Mondegreen?
  Fri. 3/14/14 1:40am P-90:

Yo Droll! Actually. it's been a very progga-lacious trip since midnight, you WILL dig the archive. Of course, even as I'm commenting about the prog-flavored first half, I hear Capt. Name sailing us in a different direction, more funka-liscious than progga-delic, but also most pleasing...
  Fri. 3/14/14 1:41am P-90:

@DJ NIck & @Droll: yeah, we did find some kind of Pencil there, didn't we?
     Fri. 3/14/14 1:50am Nick Name:

@ P-90 : blame Whooda , he started it , and now he is in the land of nod
Avatar Fri. 3/14/14 1:52am Droll:

Yes, I missed the fusion finisher with Cobham as well. I like "Cap'n Name". As in:
You know whats going on in that Bermuda Triangle?
Down in the Bermuda Traingle

Commodore Nick Name it is.
Avatar    Fri. 3/14/14 1:54am fleep:

The album version of that Touré number I just found seems to have Dave Matthews on it, most unfortunate, that live cut was super.
Avatar Fri. 3/14/14 1:58am Droll:

Medusa is making me see tracers. I can't find squat out about this band with the Google, so this album probably is simply being hallucinated.
Avatar    Fri. 3/14/14 2:13am fleep:

@Droll www.numerogroup.com...
Avatar Fri. 3/14/14 2:13am ausmanx:

good evening from the Southern Hemisphere. you are a discriminating selector of Fall tracks, Mr Name...
     Fri. 3/14/14 2:20am Nick Name:

Hi ausmanx , thx for checking in again!
Avatar Fri. 3/14/14 2:22am Droll:

Thanks fleep! I grew up in Chicago and I can't tell you how many ads I ran or responded to in the Illinois Entertainer that did not end with regret. Considering such a cool sounding record wash shelved almost 40 years is certainly regrettable. I got a great laugh being reminded of that kiss-of-death rag.
  Fri. 3/14/14 2:31am P-90:

@fleep: thnx for Medusa link, fascinating
Avatar    Fri. 3/14/14 2:35am fleep:

Droll, I. had to smile, in 1974 I was an intern on Chicago Camera on WMAQ.

P-90, yw!
  Fri. 3/14/14 2:45am P-90:

wait, the Left Coast Boys both have roots in Chi-Town?
  Fri. 3/14/14 2:47am P-90:

@DJ Nick Name: Superb show. Have a great week and we'll see you here after The Hour of the Spazz...
Avatar    Fri. 3/14/14 2:49am fleep:

No roots, a year or so of grad work before migrating ever further west...

Captain Name, sir! Fine show, sir!
Avatar Fri. 3/14/14 2:52am Droll:

I did grow up there and left because between the hoodlums and the cops it was impossibly violent. I moved after a neighbor (a state cop cop no less) kicked in the windshield of my car. I eventually made it to Seattle where I don't have to put up with bright yellow sky thing.
Avatar Fri. 3/14/14 2:56am Droll:

Thanks Commodore Name! See you in archiveland in a day or two. "Howdy" to Stan! Bye other commenters as we enter Stan's Internet Shadow, see you on the other side.
     Fri. 3/14/14 3:18am Nick Name:

thanks P-90 / fleep / Droll - one and all - have a good weekend
