I think half the signs were missed because the video feed kept switching away from them.

Still a groovy performance.

@Stavros, you can see the whole list on the Ustream site where the video stream was posted. (And thanks, those signs were mostly of my devising.)

AP, you mean the whole list is posted at Ustream, or that there's a version of the video that shows them all with the card-flipping?

Recording an album that isn't released must be the biggest heartbreak and waste of time of money in the music industry, an industry known for it's expertise at all those. Imagine writing a dozen songs, learning to play them, hiring session musicians, going into the studio to record them, and ending up empty-handed...

Please ask them to "leak" the album to YT.

I *have* heard 'mainstream' reports about the U.S. Govt. putting 'malware' on unsuspecting citizen's machines to counteract other malicious Hackers (not to damage the citizen computers). Otherwise for me - the statement is standing by itself - w/ neither proof nor disproof. I can say I wouldn't be entirely surprised - but what is that worth?
Avatar Wed. 3/12/14 5:08pm Droll:

AP, Yeah, I'm kinda disappointed... They made it sound like there'd be a lot more fornicating.

Whooda, If that were true, wouldn't Facebook take action? Why not sue the government? Make a press release? Notify users? Wouldn't that make them Digital Era Heroes?
Avatar Wed. 3/12/14 5:08pm Whooda:

I sent you the proof in the link (first article). Second proof (second article) Constitutional crisis CIA spying overseeres computers and deleting damaging evidence. Never trust the MSM, they are part and parcel of the conspiracy.

I use Windows, it hacks me daily, what's one more hack.
Avatar    Wed. 3/12/14 5:13pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...after a few Dave Emory episodes - my conclusion is that it comes down to who or what are your Sources - & how much do you trust them - & why - &, ultimately, how much time & ability do you have to put into becoming your own Investigative Reporter - & effectively becoming your *own 'Source' as much as possible. For most of us, that's very limited. The story about the CIA & Congress ('the reverse of oversight'!) appears to be a real 'mainstream' news one, however; why be surprised intelligence agencies spy on everyone? What was anyone expecting??
Avatar Wed. 3/12/14 5:15pm Droll:

My threshold for "proof" is a bit higher than "read it on the internetz". For instance, I don't believe Facebook would be unaware of a massive hijacking of it's users, if it were occurring. Besides, if they did admit to either being hacked or not being aware they were hacked at such an enormous scale, that wouldn't reflect well on their business. Best to just deny everything.
Avatar    Wed. 3/12/14 5:17pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

I accept the idea that Big Business has bought out the Govt. & they could be in cohoots w/ each other pretty easily, though...

Avatar Wed. 3/12/14 5:19pm fleep:

RRN63 Operation Paperclip totally happened, and when they picked the best Reich brains, they got a mindset along with it, and it's in the very spine of our government. Emory bases his work on that fifth column and its descendants.
Avatar Wed. 3/12/14 5:20pm Andrew Waterloo:

Then you have to make the business case for mining all that data.
  Wed. 3/12/14 5:20pm jon:

Hi All ...
Hoping someone can help me find something i heard on WFMU about 15 years ago, but not sure where to ask, except here shortly after Irwin played Joe Frank.

It was a radio drama/performance, very like Joe Frank, in which the main character is obsessed by the band Menudo. Most of the piece is phone calls with his friend, and gradually he gets more obsessed and delusional until the friend will no longer take his calls.

I've checked all Joe Frank resources I can find on the net, and nothing links JF with Menudo.

Does anyone have any idea what I'm looking for? Someone else doing JF like radio dramas that WFMU would have broadcast in the late 90s?

  Wed. 3/12/14 5:35pm jon:

"that almost sounds like something jonathan goldstein did."

Quick google of JG, and if you are talking about his show "WireTap", its not that because that started in 2004 and what I'm thinking of was no later than 2001 (based on where I lived when I heard it)

But WireTap looks interesting anyway .. I will check it out.

@Ike with all do respect, you have no idea what your talking about. You have determined not to change your opinion regardless of all proof presented to you to the contray. Brilliant text on that JT Mortensen tune. Note to self, add "This song is about sex" to the last line of every chorus of every song.

Thanks Irwin, I hope you find the Joe Frank Menudo episode! Or maybe just play some Menudo hits: 3 Hours of Hard Bop, Hard Times, and Boy Bands!

Also, nice work on Sunday, but if you want to be serious about the rock music stuff you need to learn to smash 'em like Buddy Rich or lose the traditional grip.

@Fleep thanks for the short article. That is the crux of our most profound problem. Still, the article is written with a Main Stream Media bias yet is brilliant to remind us that our subconcious behvior is being controlled by "greedy" outside forces.
