Favoriting Brian Turner: Playlist from March 11, 2014 Favoriting

Order and disorder in a freeform haze of terribly-played guitars, shorted-out electronics, found audio detritus, strange sounds from strange lands all around. Psych-punk-junk, collage, even pop. Lots of in-studio live performances to boot.

Trying to pick between Melody Jubilee Singers that came on the GTDS stream and some Algerian Proto-Rai on here, my brain's choosing mechanism had a seizure. Too much milk and honey. Made it for part of the B&B, though.

To be fair, $200 for truck is a bit cheap. That said, I wasn't even allowed to buy a car when I was in HS, even when I had the $. But I could drive my Mom's mini-van.

Thanks Tom. Being from the South originally, I shouldn't be surprised.

Revolution Rabbit: ever hear of Tijuana bibles? They were pornographic versions of 20s-40s American comic strips like Popeye, Annie, Nancy & Sluggo, etc. Pretty scandalous stuff, unless you're into explicit sex scenes involving Wimpy -- not that there's anything wrong with that!
