1. am listening to tail end of your superfine 2/22 fill-in; "$pringfield" is a top-10 episode and i was so psyched to hear you spotlight it. "i'm idaho!"
2. a conference call will take me away from the 1st hour of this show. :( will pledge now to compensate.
3. love the comic. i hope your post-wfmu routine also includes latin american food and beer.

Wanted to write a comment on my pledge form but I'm bad with the computers: "This show answers the age-old question posed by Tribe Called Quest. What's the scenario? It's the Nazario Scenario. Great show, Amanda.

I support this show through a singular pledge submitted that I didn't take the time to spread, for assorted reasons, so more like a dip.

Hi Manda, Matt and other listening ears. Yes, all FMU playlists are problematic. Must be either the pledge add-ons or a hydrogen storm on Venus.

I heard Jackson Diner went downhill circa 10 yrs. ago and has been coasting on its reputation ever since...? It was nearly empty last Friday night at 7:30. Didn't go in. The Yelp reviews are mostly OK but seem written by naive people who don't eat spicy stuff or know Indian food very well.

I went to J. Diner a few times the past few years, not bad, buffet was fine, dinner not super cheap but it was ok, plenty of food, I thought it was good, but maybe better places around the nabe than that, otherwise. I haven't been back in a bit since trying to not overeat, etc...type 2 D.
Avatar    Wed. 2/26/14 2:33pm Ike:

I had no idea that was a person. I honestly strongly suspected it/he was automated. Most of the material has no bearing on reality, nor is it particularly poetic. The number of posts during DJ Stashu, Marty M., and others' boards were overwhelming. I withdraw -- y'all have fun now.

I once had to contend with some asshole at some job I had mid 1990s who was into Depeche Mode, he found out I was an REM fan, and berated me that REM sucked deek and DM was King! I was like...you frat boy arsehole go get stuffed! I hate people like that....god makes me glad I'm disabled right now
Avatar Wed. 2/26/14 3:00pm Doug Schulkind:

YOU CAN GO UNTIL 7PM, AMANDA!

@Gaylord
I remember our sticking up for Amy Rigby's Middlessence back in the copy dept of that national music magazine. Her childish detractors there complained that she couldn't sing!

I do always like Lowe, and love this show. Circumstances this month involving a sick loved one have depleted my funds, though I will save up, do all I can to help out over the next hump. Fantastic job, co-deejays!

I try to count along with the 1-2-3-4 drummers say to make sure they're actually keeping time and not just saying it.
