I think Eli is singing this to Peyton today to help cheer him up.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Mon. 2/3/14 6:03pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Ray Guy going into the Hall of Fame. That's my favorite story of the weekend.
Avatar Mon. 2/3/14 6:05pm Sean D. Daily:

The FUCK, Broncos?! Just... WHY?!
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Mon. 2/3/14 6:14pm Kat in Chicago:

Jim's snorts and snuffles are awesome
  Mon. 2/3/14 6:24pm Robert:

I remember Craig Colquitt. The others, not so much.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Mon. 2/3/14 6:30pm Kat in Chicago:

"My cohost wrote a poem for you." "Huh?"
Avatar Mon. 2/3/14 6:31pm northguineahills:

I know, that was great, Kat.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Mon. 2/3/14 6:33pm Kat in Chicago:

I've had a miserable day at work but I'm laughing so hard at this interview right now
  Mon. 2/3/14 6:34pm drewo:

Ray Guy was a one-man Legion of Boom! I loved the Oakland Raiders of the 1970's/early 80's when they were one of the most disliked, and best, teams in sports. Guy booming 60 yard punts! Ken 'Snake' Stabler leading 2-minute marches downfield with a rifle-like left arm! Fred Bilitnikof making catches using the just the sides of his arms! Players with nicknames like the Assassin, and the first sports team to feature black prominently in their color scheme. George Blanda! Jim '00' Otto! They went 3-0 in Super Bowls between 1976 and 1984 and it was the last time I truly loved a NFL team.
Avatar Mon. 2/3/14 6:34pm northguineahills:

Well, a touchdown was only 5 points until 1908. (Not sure why I know that).
Avatar    Mon. 2/3/14 6:35pm Matt from Springfield:

Media Day interviews! Yay, have to catch the rest of these!

Hey Bronwyn and Jim and Super Bowl WTFers!
  Mon. 2/3/14 6:35pm Robert:

I remember when Steve O'Neill got that 98 yarder (97 net) for the Jets. Curley Johnson had been cut in favor of this rookie, and I wondered why, considering Curley Johnson was a damn good veteran, but that punt silenced all the doubts.
  Mon. 2/3/14 6:37pm Robert:

Hey, northguineahills, did you know that in Canadian football, a TD was still only 5 points until about 50 yrs. later than that?
Avatar    Mon. 2/3/14 6:38pm Matt from Springfield:

Conditioner never really helped my beard, or nethers, become soft.
Avatar Mon. 2/3/14 6:40pm Marcel M:

Hello all. I was at the Super Bowl yesterday!
Avatar    Mon. 2/3/14 6:40pm Matt from Springfield:

OH SHIT...performance DE-hancing drugs!!! CO and WA have legalized pot, but only CO is selling it as of now...!

What were you guys, high?! Oh. You know, you probably shouldn't do that...
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 2/3/14 6:41pm Studio B Ben:

Who let Narduar in?
Avatar    Mon. 2/3/14 6:41pm Matt from Springfield:

Hey Marcel!
That's great--glad the weather was good for you! :)
AND getting to see that Bruno Mars/RHCP show LIVE! :D
Avatar    Mon. 2/3/14 6:42pm Matt from Springfield:

Were you able to take a PATH train there? Taking the PATH to a Super Bowl is an opportunity that doesn't come around often.
  Mon. 2/3/14 6:42pm Robert:

In the NFL, you don't get to recover your punt onside as you can in Canadian football. I didn't overhear him mention that difference.
  Mon. 2/3/14 6:44pm Robert:

No, the 98 yarder was at Shea IIRC.
  Mon. 2/3/14 6:46pm Robert:

But following up on what I wrote before, at the time the predecessor to the NFL, the APFA, got going, the onside kick was still legal in American football too.
Avatar Mon. 2/3/14 6:46pm Marcel M:

@Matt, I actually took a bus from Manhattan and it was really really easy. Not sure why the news had tons of people complaining about how horrible getting there was. And yeah seeing Anthony Kiedis with Bruno Mars was a strange thing.
  Mon. 2/3/14 6:48pm drewo:

Chris Kluwe on the case for a punter in the NFL HoF.
  Mon. 2/3/14 6:50pm Robert:

Probably they're referring to a much more recent 98 yards NET punt. O'Neal's was returned for 1 yard, making it 97 net.
Avatar    Mon. 2/3/14 6:50pm Matt from Springfield:

Awesome, Marcel.
Avatar Mon. 2/3/14 6:52pm northguineahills:

@Robert: I do believe I read that. While on furlough from work, I've been spending way too much time on wikipedia.
  Mon. 2/3/14 6:55pm Robert:

I didn't get it from Wikipedia, I remembered from listening to the Jets game on the radio.
Avatar    Mon. 2/3/14 6:56pm Matt from Springfield:

That won't stop Hernandez--he can murder WITH HIS MIND
  Mon. 2/3/14 6:56pm Robert:

The game was blacked out from TV locally.
Avatar    Mon. 2/3/14 6:58pm Matt from Springfield:
