  Sat. 2/1/14 11:16am Julia:

I never realized how suggestive Brand New Key is.
  Sat. 2/1/14 11:25am AZ Dave:

  Sat. 2/1/14 12:03pm calzone!:

We had Gary US Bonds play our community college in 1981...he was riding high on the Springsteen connection at the time. When he arrived for the show I introduced myself as a the 'Concert Committee Chairperson'. He laughed, looked behind me, and exclaimed, "Chairperson, well you don't have such a flat ass"! Oh Gary, what a card! :) He put on a great show btw.
  Sat. 2/1/14 12:13pm mrrecord:

I'm confused...does he have writing credit? Does he have paperwork/contracts for anything? I license and publish music for a living
  Sat. 2/1/14 12:16pm mrrecord:

he can claim royalties going back 2 years in the US through ASCAP, BMI, or SESAC for any exploitation of his music (if he has writing credit). Other countries, longer
Avatar Sat. 2/1/14 12:17pm Michael Shelley:

he said he gets his publishing - but nothing from the master side
  Sat. 2/1/14 12:22pm drewo:

Saturday morning music history class with Michael Shelley - always a blast! Thanks Michael.
  Sat. 2/1/14 12:27pm mrrecord:

if he has paperwork re: master, he might be able to claim a lot more revenue legally.
Avatar Sat. 2/1/14 12:39pm Jeezy:

Crap, what was Michaels email address again?!
  Sat. 2/1/14 12:43pm Toddophonic:

Was never the biggest Bill Withers fan, but that cut was great!
Avatar Sat. 2/1/14 12:43pm Uke Goldberg:

My typewriter-teleivison says Stevie Wonder and Hank Crosby wrote tears of clown as an instrumental and Smokey Robinson added lyrics later.
Avatar Sat. 2/1/14 12:45pm Uke Goldberg:

Opps, I see that wasn't tears of a clown you played but Gan't Get Used to Losing You :P
Avatar Sat. 2/1/14 12:48pm Uke Goldberg:

It must be my chronic traumatic encephalopathy acting up.
