@Mike East, I've heard bad things about Rutt's Hut in recent years, so that's put me off trying it even though I live just a few miles away. But then I am not all that into hot dogs anyway, nor do I go anywhere just for the dubious appeal of an allegedly entertainingly seedy atmosphere.
  4:22pm
LovecraftDude888:

haha...I heard it was pretty gross, actually. I went to Tick Tock Diner again 3 yrs. ago after not having gone in years, maybe a decade or more, it was ...eh. ok.
  4:23pm
LovecraftDude888:

just read the Rowe Manse closed in 2003, got killed off due to bankruptcy and competition from new shopping, etc. They made a fortune on all kinds of things...Cabbage patch feckin dolls etc. that place was tacky as hell but fun

Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 4:27pm

Yeah, Tick Tock is definitely nothing special. The Schuyler used to be a hidden gem, but I just read it changed hands recently and has reportedly gone downhill, so that's depressing.
Avatar 4:28pm

- now this is an interesting cover as one always thinks of the sound the Electric Prunes got on it & you hear the song here - but then people always hear it as 'too much to drink' anyway...love the insights I'm getting into NJ up heah HewHampshuh reading this...

it started with Pink Floyd, with me thinking they were the most bizarre, edgy "classic rock" band. then from there i learned about lesser known bands and how truly amazing they were/are. such a shame that they're so many goods bands/musicians out there, yet there not very well known, while the mainstreamers listen to the same music that's been recycled, just with a new face, and think it's the "best."
