Reed, sorry, maybe too much beer, but didn't we enjoy your show a few months ago out in the back yard with a big bonfire and then praise "Deed?"
Set me straight, please.

Reed Dunlea:

Dave yes, there have been times when people have known me as Deed Runlea

woops had to switch screens to the updated board. I was like. I'm still ranting about guitar FX!
  7:21pm
LovecraftDude888:

Apparently Dunlop makes a Jimi Hendrid Fuzzbox recreation...I doubt you can get better than that for that type of fuzz sound.

Anyway...alright enough gear head talk

I was dreaming the other night about someone releasing a Husker Du box set for some reason. I hope it happens in real life! The complete Huskers
  7:26pm
LovecraftDude888:

Dave W:

OK, thanks. Praise to your current self and I appreciate the work you do is all.
Please keep going! The college I went to was crappy but at least I learned to love WFMU from that armpit.

I wasn't entirely enamored with either college I went to...I graduated from NYIT which was like, ok. No social life really there to speak of. I went to Hofstra for 1 year and hated it mainly, for various reasons.

Hi Mr. DeeJay Reed!
I like this set!
Unfortunately it's 1:25 over here in Germany and I'm afraid I have to go soon!

LDude888: I think I was reading the Husker wigkey (wiki) - & I think legal disagreement between them will prevent the Husker Remastering we would like to hear...
  7:31pm
LovecraftDude888:

Oh nooo yeah I was afraid you might say that. I think I heard something about that a few years ago. Christ. Have to just buy the newer pressings or the old vinyl again..someone stole my old Huskers LPs at some point in the late 80s or 90s and I dunno who!
  7:32pm
LovecraftDude888:

Then again it's all on Spotify or YouTube etc. I guess

I snuck a peek a that video. Too California. Like their trust funds paid for it. And they all have lots to spend/waste going forward. Milk wasted... a nourishing substance our Government wants to keep cheaper than gasoline,
-impossible, but they have done it lately to keep us believing people like Jim Gerlach belong in the Senate! (He quit today, BTW.)
  7:47pm
LovecraftDude888:

Good! (that he quit) I'm so glad to see the back of Bloombug in NYC I cannot tell y'all....

Dave u werent supposed to watch until AFTER the show

Mark:

Ah, Warthog. The perfect accompaniment to any romantic dinner. Second only to The Abused.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:50pm
Mike East:

@Dave W - what about it says trust fund to you? It looked like it cost zero dollars to make that. Unless you count gas money to drive out to the desert. I don't think the amps were plugged in. Otherwise it would probably be pretty expensive to run power out there.
(sorry, Reed, I watched it on mute right after you posted it.)

I doubt it was filmed with brand new DV cameras heehee
  7:56pm
Dave W:

Your show is great, Reed. all politics aside. Mike, I come from the lesser %, including maybe brain power. Is there a way to produce a video with "zero dollars" and get it in front of Ken or anyone? Or are you mad?
  7:58pm
JakeGould:

Dave W, “I snuck a peek a that video. Too California. Like their trust funds paid for it.” That’s the stupidest criticism of a video I have ever heard. You don’t need a “trust fund” to make a video like that. It’s like they just loaded up a van, got out their camera & that’s it.
Avatar 7:59pm
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Thx Reed !!
  8:00pm
Dave W:

Okay, none of you are on a trust fund, or I have struck a hellave WFMU nerve!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:00pm
Mike East:

I think I could produce a video for zero dollars and get it in front of Ken. Though I may be mad.
  8:23pm
Dave W:

My van runs on gasoline, and it ain't free, Jake. Who pays for yours? Mom and dad my guess. Mike somehow has equipment that he need not pay for. It would be an expense to one of several LLCs,right? I have met your type in Chelsea- party on, etc.
I would not expect you to admit the facts anyway.
